well i have never heard Philadelphian's English,because I am from Nepal,but feels good to know that my English @ least sounds like an american no matter which part of america. And mm proud of it..god bless america

I guess I'm from Pennsylvania (Midland) which is a fine place to be from. But I'm really from Minnesota.

A little strange, was born and grew up in the South, but this says I'm from the Northeast (New York, New Jersey). I live in NJ now. I just know how to not sound so Southern.

It said I had a midlands accent, and I thought "no way", until I got to the second to last sentence. I am a Texan, but I was born and raised in Dallas...spooky.

I got Philly, but I'm from foreign country.. I haven't lived there. Well, it kinda close to Philly or Baltimore, I'm in DC.

I did grow up in Wisconsin, but my pronunciation comes more from being a phonics based elementary reading teacher.

so inaccurate i lived in North Jersey my whole life and it said Midland.At least it doesn't take long to get to Pennsylvania and the 2nd guess was Northeast.

Ha! 100% Midland. Very accurate! Although I rated higher on the Boston accent than southern, which is completely wrong.

Result was northeast; close enough. I was born in Michigan but moved to California when I was 8 years old.

I'm from the West and it said I had an Inland North Eastern accent. Never lived in that territory, go figure.

the test said i was from the northeast. i have been told all my life when in other parts of the country that is must be from new jersey or brooklyn and on occasion philly. i am from neither....i am from new orleans and most native new orleanians sound like they are from hoboken, new jersey. read the book confederacy of dunces and you will understand our accent.

Said 93% inland north. Could not have been more spot on! Born and raised in WI and now have lived in the Upper Prnibsula of MI for 5 years. I think it is the combo of "about" and "on" that nailed me :)

Well, they've got me pegged. The funny thing is, when I was younger I worked hard to get rid of my New York accent, but now I find I'm kind of proud of it.
