WAY off!!! your said Philly and I was born and raised in Calif , parents from Oregon and Calif sooooo where did the Philly come from? haha .. fun and interesting tho!

It said Philadephia but I'm from New Orleans. Should have asked about my, Lord, Bible and other words to bring out Deep South accent.

I have lived on the West Coast the majority of my life. The quiz gave me a Philadelphia accent 100%. Find that a little bit funny.

I got the West even though I am from the Midwest and have lived in the Northeast for over half my life. Still stand by my responses.

Yes, from Pittsburgh area and was once told that is the "best" accent. When in NY, people could pick out midwest. When I returned to visit McKeesport, Pa. they said I was talking like a New Yrker.

I am a 5th generation Texan but did live in the Midwest in the 1970s and I was kidded all the time about my accent. Maybe age has helped.

Bogus... Midland not...raised in the northeast ,lived most of my adult life in Wisconsin and Minnesota...never spent much time in Pa,or Ohio ,etc...

I did the quiz and quite a lot of people think, like the quiz, that I come from the north east. In fact, my accent is English. I am from the north west of England but I have been in the USA for a while now.

To me, the name "Mary" and the verb "marry" sound exactly the same. The quiz does not permit choosing that option, though.

West, eh? Raised in Western MACHUSETTS. (The "missing letters" refer to a number of MA Congress Critters.) Have lived 30 yr in SE. Only short visits to W on very few occasions.
