I got 16% the first time and 19% when I looked over my answers.
Since everyone else is talking about there characters I will too.
Ruby age 10 is a runaway slave in a fantasy world. She has short chocolate coloured hair -that barely skims her shoulders- and silver eyes witch are a bright giveaway that she has magic potential. This is not comely known how ever. The story starts with her friends death her magic was not strong enough to save him. In that night she finally picks up the courage to run away from the Mistress. She is only a child however and has never left the house. She sees the world as black and white good and bad. She doesn't know how the world works. My story is told through the way a child sees the world. (Background info about the world 1/100 have magic but only one power. 1/1000 of people with power have a second power. Even though these people all can use magic you could go your whole life not learning what it is. (Ruby has two powers: healing and hiding. hiding is hard to explain so I won't) Silver eyes only appear on children with magic potential but not on all children with magic. There was a city where every one had silver eyes but a king declared war to kill all the "witches" this made that city vanish leaving a desert in its place before the king could get there.)

I got 25%. this seems ok though I feel it should be lower. My OC's name is Niq IdenBane. They are a sniper for the Gaster Brothers (MafiaFell). They can shapeshift but since it drains their magic they can only shift up to 5 times every 24 hrs.They had a pretty normal life until their single mother was killed in neutral territory during a shootout between the Dreemurr gang and the Waterfall gang, after they found out they joined the Gaster brothers gang at age 24 and worked up the ranks to sniper. Does this sound good?

Also They had taken a vow to kill the leaders of the Dreemurr and Waterfall gangs, because of this they have made enemies with the underbosses, and mob bosses of these gangs, earning themself a spot on their targets list. Their species is a Skeletal Dire Wolf, they are demisexual, and due to their skills as a sniper they have earned the nickname "Angel Of Death".

They have a temper which is often used against them in the MafiaFell AU. They have in the past tortured information out of rival gang members, and they have been diagnosed as a Psychopath due to not feeling remorse for killing someone. They will often chose the most gruesome ways of torture, such as Blood Eagle, Swedish Drink, Bamboo torture, and the use of the Judas Cradle. I got a 17 (I can't find the percent button HELP.)
I mean my OC's life is pretty boring (She likes eating worms though) nothing happens until she's like older than 18, her sister dies one day but ok, I guess?. Then she gets manipulated by some person she met in the woods cause you know, she is r e a l ly sma r t, and she ends up getting killed. Take Moon's story as warning children, don't trust demons in the middle of the woods.

I got 19%... I have a small sense of doubt to this result but I'm a bit sure I didn't answer honestly on some of the questions due to me being too lazy to understand them. (Original Character by the way)
The character I used is a guy who go dimension hopping due to his cowardice of people who tries to kill him (he's also scared of using his powers due to an incident). He decided to stay on one dimension because he was attached to another character in that place so he tries maintaining a low profile to avoid facing an enemy. Apologies if you find this comment too difficult to understand. English isn't my first language btw.

I tried this quiz again and got a 15% for the other character I mentioned here. I am satisfied in this one than last time since she is supposed to be my attempt on making a more realistic character.
The character is basically a human girl who currently goes to college from her parent's funding. She lived alone and distance herself from her family and old friends. She tries to maintain good relationships with others (She would usually hate them but would keep it to herself.). She met the character I talked about first while she is working at her part-time job.

My character has pink hair, but their world is a fantasy world and unnatural hair is normal. She has brown eyes and is training to be a mage. She has a very high metabolism and can barely gain weight for muscles, so shes very weak. But for some reason the more I describe her, she seems more like a Mary Sue. (Btw shes an original character not from a fandom)

Also, her backstory is kinda tragic, because her mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and while she was away, her dad didnt abuse her per se, but more of like, neglected her. Since she was so little and young, she starved due to her dad off somewhere drinking, so that led to her having stomach surgery due to her stomach eating itself

There's a group of creatures called the Ohusakus. They've almost went extinct and seeing one is extremely rare, there's about 10 left on earth.
The Ohusakus are unique for their skin color, **blood,** unnatural ear and their **flower.**
**About their flower**
They're born with their flower, which are different colors depending on their personality.
It's stuck in their mouth and they cannot pull it out/get rid of it, I'll elaborate below. The flower basically makes them mute until they find their *soulmate.* (must be human)
When they find their soulmate, the flower will rot and disappear through the Ohusakus sleep. (The soulmate will immediately fall in love upon seeing the Ohusaku they're matched with.)
However.. if someone were to rip the flower out.
**If the flower is ripped out.**
If the flower is ripped out by the Ohusaku or another creature, they'll start to get a patch on their skin and they'll throw up flowers, along with weirdly colored blood. This will only stop if their soulmate finds them and falls in love, which is rare for Ohusakus who have their flowers pulled out.
**Their blood**
Their blood is why they almost went extinct, people would relentlessly pull out their flowers, causing them to die of stress and decay. They'd collect their blood because it helps create multiple medications.
**The character.**
My oc is Kyoko, she's one of the only Ohusakus remaining. A human pulled out her flower and she's on the verge of dying, she travels the world in hopes she'll find her soulmate to save her. She's got the pink flower, as a sign of hope, love and forgiveness. She's 14 and extremely forgetful, she forgives people easily.

well i'm working on an au, based on the story of a game.
But this au does not follow the original canon history. I mean it actually follows, but it changes some things and in it, there is a canon character, but in this au he is not original, he is an interpretation of that character. let's say the original is a psychopathic killer who kills children for fun. Meanwhile, in my au, he is a problematic/ mentally ill guy who suffered abuse as a child, killed his own parents and went through several orphanages (the police did not arrest him because they found out that he was mentally ill) but none of them accepted him because he caused a lot of problems, until he turned 18, finally being able to keep the inheritance from his parents and the house.
He was suppossed to get treatment and take his meds but he was too stubborn and thought he could live normaly with that. Stupid, ended up killing kids because of that.
Now he has to deal with inmsonia and being haunted every night by their spirits
he is in love with a character I created, who is his neighbor (she was the one who moved close to his house) and is mute, and works in the same place as him
I guess i need to change him a bit huh.

Huh, I thought my mer-person prince, Kipper, would be more gary stu (I think that's the male version?) Than just 27%. He's got a rather sad backstory and ends up traveling into another dimension to hide from the fact he's next in line for the throne (His father dies, his mother is depressed and never talks to him, and his older brother is a huge jerk towards him) I would explain more but I doubt anyone cares haha, if you're curious about him, my discord is Galactic_Pawz #0772, so just ask me on that.

Huh, I was honestly expecting more of a Mary-Sue score on her.
Her names Nightshade, shes an artificial dragon (most characters are dragons or serpents in this universe) who was created by a spell cast by a Night-Dragon named Moonstone, who was basically raised in poverty and started a cult to get revenge on the wealthy, so the idea was that shed create Nightshade as a killing machine who could convey blood into magical power, and was incapable of feeling empathy.
That didnt work though, because the spell was interrupted by the Queen of the Wyverns, thus, Nightshade turned into this weird dragon who sort of wanted to kill everyone she saw, but also didnt and just wanted friends, so shes constantly battling this bloodthirsty side of her that she hates and loves at the same time, shes socially awkward, and occasionally snaps and kills people in the night, no big deal, her descriptions kind of overly edgy, but I think it makes sense because her creators wanted her to look intimidating. Shes also a teenager because I wanted her to be. I admit that was kind of a Mary-Sue-ish choice on my part.
So yeah, Im surprised I only got 27%

I got like 23% and I know exactly why. He has one very cliche trait that everyone seems to role there eyes at, as well as his past, but both have very good explanations. His name is Ikari, he is sixteen and an anthropomorphic Jackalope. He grew up with his parents, his mother who was way too nice, and his father who was very cold and never praised him. He fought people growing up to try and gain his fathers approval, and gave up on his mother as she was always proud. So he had daddy issues. He tried to fight an opponent who was stronger then him and got stabbed, causing him to nearly die, however, a young iPhones boy, whos mother was secretly a witch, and whos father was an alcoholic, and died by getting hit by a transport truck, gave him the necklace his mother gave to him because she said it would protect him, and he thought, as a six year old, that it could protect the dying jackalope. Little did he know, this mother had bewitched the necklace to protect whoever was in need, and Ikari needed it, so it brought him back to life. The necklace binders with him, so it wouldnt help anyone else. Ikari discovered that if he removes the necklace, he would die, so he is forced to take the child with him, despite being a loner, as Kento will not leave his mothers necklace. Ikari grows to be sort of a father figure to Kento, despite only being 13-16 throughout the storyline. Ikari is grumpy and pushes others away, he is also very arrogant, but seems to have a soft spot for Kento. The necklace allows him to make physical shapes from energy he can generate. He can make any physical object from this energy, and shift the energy into anything hed like. However, this energy is penetrable, and has a range of how far it can go. He also cant cast spells, turn people into things, heal etc. He could however make a giant energy hand or a sword etc. He can not hold said items, the just float, and are genie like, but when used, function as solids. When he has this necklace on, he can not

So what 17%, I get it my characters a demon.. the thing is hes poor and uhh is an oc based from Hasbin Hotel. It makes sense Id get these results. His name is Victor Von Blue and his nicknames are mostly from his boss and my friends hasbin ocs, his nicknames from his boss is gay water, red eyed blue hound and small gay horns. From his friend Mickey, wannabe, blue macaroni, and heart tailed lump. Tricky, no nicknames from tricky currently. Nikkie, nicknames from nikkie are Vicky, drunk blue slime, and pal. Nicknames from himself are, dapper demon [his stage name for singing at the pub,] failing chum, and starry fright. Hes a tax collector and likes to communicate with his friend from earth, faith who claims to be related to him As he just flicks her nose. Hes blue as his horns are connected to his head, he has no hair and has a heart shaped tail with a black dot at the end of it. I can understand why this quiz thinks hes a bit Mary Sue due to him being an oc from hasbin hotel.

My characters name is Adrianna. She is a 15 year old who is half angel half demon, as the result of a scandal.
She suffers from PTSD because her father was abusive to her as a young child before he disappeared. Her mother is nice, kind and supporting. Because she is the result of a scandal, her classmates generally dont like her. She is talented though, as she is named the best dancer in school, although that doesnt stop other angels from mistreating her. Everyone has powers, she does too but instead of having fire,nature,light,water she has like evil/dark because of the demon DNA in her.
The rest of the story is complicated and I cant explain it well but so far what do you think? Is she a Mary Sue or not.

It's hard to tell if she is a Mary Sue; you can have the most generic character with the most generic qualities and they still won't be a Mary Sue because their personality carries the story beyond superficial qualities and grounds it in realism. Not saying that your character has generic qualities! But to make sure she's not a MS, focus on fleshing out her personality to make it unique:)

About the question about my character having some sort of disability that causes her to act differently... yes and no.
You see, the story that Im trying to tell is of a young girl who linked with a ghost of sorts. The Ghosts goals are to wipe the girl clean and make her into a blank slate, so the ghost can take her physical form to go and find her dad. The story is about the girls memory slowly dwindlingto the point where the girl can barely even remember her own name, and refers to herself as Dwith the occasional bit where the ghost can take control of her body for a certain amount of time is shes not co-operating.
So, technically, yes, my character has an alter of sorts, but not in a disability way. Theres also the question of her reforming the villain. Again with the yes and no answer.
The girl, D, does try to convince the ghost, G, to stop taking away her memories. Serveral times, actually. And while G has considered, she ultimately decided that her dad was more important. (The reason why she loves her dad so much is such a rabbit hole that I could go on and on about). [Spoilers for the ending] G does eventually succeed at finally gaining a physical form via D, but she does ultimately regret it in the end. So Im not quite sure if that counts.

I got a 19% score. My characters name is Katherine and she grew up in the year 1945-1964 (she's 19) she's a complete greaser. She has black hair and brown eyes. Usually has her hair in a ponytail. Her parents died in a plane crash so she's terrified of planes, but she still has her seven brothers (chill bro, my grandma's got 11 siblings, it ain't that many) she was raped when she was 14 so I guess that adds to the sorta tragicness. She got into track sorta stuff cause of that and fighting. Her brothers have a book full of questions like an interview if she gets a boyfriend so that makes funny scenarios. She just kinda doesn't really care bout much. Guys usually try to get with her but because of her past shes like "Aw, heaccc naw!" She's pretty crazy. Pulls stupid pranks on her friends. Actually knows how to play sports cause of her brothers. (that was a big thing for girls to be able to do in the 60's) she'll only say things that she'd say to your face. If you ask her what she said under her breath she'll say it so the whole world can here. She only has one cat.

I got 23% My character is a girl she is a cat human hybrid but its normal in the universe. She has baby pink hair due to being born with bleach blond hair and when she is anxious, sad, angry etc negative emotions her scalp bleeds causing a permanent color. her Name is chinoki (death kiss shortened )the reason is this: (her father is not abusive this was just a thing he did to remember the cause of chinokisus mothers death) he named her that after the mother had died giving birth to chinoki (for short). Otherwise he was a loving father who wanted the best. hes abstract minded so hes not a big part of the story. Chinoki finds herself on the first day of school speechless due to a boy named junkokoro (pure heart shortened) she was attracted to his name because it was a polar opposite to hers. (Yandere girl, yes) anyway setting that aside she does creepy things but she suffers from depression and anxiety and is prone to be a little out of her rocker. she is 14 and shes otherwise normal the cat ears and tail are white and she is most commonly found in hoodies/ sweatpants or her school uniform witch is standard looking. She does not have paranormal powers shes just crazy. She has a friend named savimew my friends oc maybe she will tell you about that

6% I knew there was something lacking with his character. Well, he's a human who lives in an alternate Earth, and he has this plain ability to alter his flesh form into a statue/alabaster. It's very weird and it's not something that can blend in with most artist OCs and that's why I've been struggling making friends because he was rather dull. He has also been harsh towards his father before he passed away, and obviously regretted it. He had a sister but however passed away as she had cancer. He and his mother are the only ones currently living in the world. He has enemies, tho. It would be boring if there weren't any. First, it was himself, and the entire world. However in this world of mine, everyone else is against the world. They build teams to defend themselves from the new age, and somehow builds up a camaraderie alongside their pilgrimage together. He looks like any other plain man, specifically British, although a bit more good-looking.

And I used to make friends with artists back then and it was easier for me to do so as my character was one with an eye-catching appearance. Just in case it confused any of you as to why I included the issue about me being unable to struggle making friends just because my OC wasn't interesting enough.

My character is a demon called Jay Jay, whos original form is a sword. (literally) He serves his wielder, (Who is an extremely powerful demon) and basically befriends his victim and then kills them and their family. He is charming, witty and cunning and his appearance and name is whatever his victim will like. He does his best to serve his master and wants his appreciation, but is always scoffed at. In the end he turns good and sacrifices himself to kill his master. I honestly expected a higher mary sueness.

I really like this test! I am an aspiring writer myself and I often do this test to see if my original/fan character is a very sue, since I really like making them OP and with generally bad family backgrounds. It's very useful since I often can't judge my own characters objectively, or is suspecting that I'm judging them too subjectively even if I'm right. This test is easy to do and offers me a simple overview of my character as I do it. So it really helped me out. Thanks a lot!

21% Well, who would've guessed that a fast snake boi named Xenon would get pretty low... I based Xenon off of an SCP (I don't think many really know what that is.) That has immeasurable speed and resembled a large insect, though I changed the little file a lot. Added more weaknesses and changed him to be more snake then insect, and incredibly weak physically. Hope I deserve this score!

Is 33% percent bad, my character was made for a role play as kinda a persona for a rp group, but now since that group is long gone and I'm trying to fix her, and I was doing with her earlier and the other rper OC said I was such a Mary sue, ik this was the oc talking but gotta wonder.
