  • I was very surprised that my character only got 7%, because in my roleplay group we always make fun of this particular character because she's so over-the-top. Then again, I suppose her flaws do make up for it. I wasn't sure what to put for the royalty/nobility question because while she is the king's niece, she grew up in poverty, as her uncle married his way into the throne.

  • 27% "Needs some spicing up" that's pretty sad considering he's the main character xD

  • In reality I have two differing eyes, so that one question doesn't count. Oh, and also, I got 2% Mary-Sue. Only took a minute until my OC was imperfect.

  • 22% for my character Target, I have a book on wattpad called Purchase where stores are characters and Target is just the transgender cinnamon roll who has a short temper and a short height. Shortest of his friends, actually. /so precious to me/ But wowie, 22%? Target is almost everything I'd want to be and is slightly based off of me but wowza ._.

  • According to this, Eve Rowley aka Ether the ghost-girl is 20% Mary Sue. Nice.

'Is your character out of shape, and stays that way throughout the entire story?' (#43)

She FIGHTS GHOSTS for a living! I'm gonna go with no XD

    A note:
On #14, you forgot the 'None' option.

Huh. That's pretty nice, especially for a fanmade character. I didn't want her TOO boring to be considered as a mere background character (or comic relief), or TOO much of a Mary-sue to be unrelatable. But I honestly expected her to have a higher... Mary-sueness percent? I mean, she IS part of a line of "cursed" decendants of a main character and gets discriminated because if it...

But what if the races have unusually colored hair and eye colors (ex. Purple, green, blue, pink, etc.), which is considered normal in their world? I don't think they would be a Mary-sue with that, except if the character has some type of hair/eye color that stands out.

Yay! The only real thing mary-sue about her is the fact that she is well, from hell. Oh! And the fact that she's an albino

Honest to god, I wasn't really having a high limit but I would do a bit of changing him if he was higher than 50% mary sueness. I like this. I actually use a character from the movie to roleplay and used him. He is pretty good, I can't really change him but I do have headcanons. ^w^

    this is nice
    welp

expec ted higher because she has amnesia and is severely obsessed with a main character because that character is very familiar to her.

and the character she finds familiar finds her familiar too, personality wise.

And has a tiny soft spot for her.
    but is also mean.

And is somehow she's that character's apprentice.

Becaus e it's that characters fault how she got in the story the first place.

    Very very very long story.

  • 16%. Probably 'cause my character, despite having power over fear, is absolutely brutal in combat and a) regrets it and b) gets a lot of hate from other characters about it (as in, [no urls] kind of hate)

  • I got 23% too. I think that's fair. I wouldn't want to watch someone that's too plain or too perfect.

  • My main character is 23% a Mary Sue. I'm happy with her not being perfect, and not too plain either.

  • My god, I tried to answer the questions to create the perfect Mary Sue of all times, but I suppose it didn' t work. Only a 69%, I'm kinda dissapointed :(

Buuuut in the second round (and with a real character) I get 22%, which is actually good for me. Of course I'm gonna smooth some things. Maybe it's enough with being under 15%. Otherwise, your character would be a pain in the arse.

  • My character is 13% Mary Sue. Huh. I was honestly expecting a bit higher, considering my baby is blind, and has a sad past. Apparently, she needs 'prettying up'. I will ignore this, as I personally love to write underdogs.

  • I got 45% on the quiz and I used myself as the character >~< I took the test because I thought it was a personality test XD But I don't actually know what a Mary Sue is. So is having 45% good or bad?

  • I got 35%, and I was just answering the quiz about myself. Like, literally my whole life and personality was used to answer the questions. My own existence, in real life, is closer to a Mary Sue than most of these people evaluating their own fictional characters. Maybe the defining characteristics behind a "Mary Sue" should be reconsidered at this point? You can have a goddamn tragic past and not be looking for attention.

  • 11% for one character of mine. I kind of expected more because in my opinion she's EXTREMELY beautiful, but a lot of other people don't have my sense of beauty. XD

  • 18 percent Mary-Sue.

That's accurate; she's a fan character, and she is a bit OP at first, but later when she's not cursed she loses most of her magical powers; but she's still pretty good with weapons. :)

  • hmmm.. 24% not bad....I think it is 24% because of the overweight questions on the (human,40+,his/her age) My character is human and looks actually....older than her age

  • 23 % the only reason that she isn't human is because none of the characters are human. They are fursonas, lie the animated cats and dogs on YouTube? Also the question "How many main characters fall in love with your character" no one does. She's kinda ugly and hated by everyone. But 23 % is pretty good.
