Jayden held him close, kissing the top of his head.

Chester let him. He exhaled, basking in the affection for a moment, before sitting up slightly. ‘I’m ready to go back in when you are.’

“Whenever you stand up, I’ll go in with you.” Jayden smiled.

Chester kissed him.

Jayden kissed him back, closing his eyes.

Chester broke the kiss after a bit. He smiled and stood up, then helped Jayden up. ‘Let’s go enjoy your birthday.’

Jayden stood up happily. “Already am.” He grinned.

Chester blushed a little and smiled wider. ‘God, you’re amazing,’ he said, pulling him close.

Jayden beamed. “I try,” he leaned into him.

Chester smiled. He wrapped an arm around him and they walked back into the ballroom. He was immediately hit with the noise, but it didn’t bother him as much as it usually would.

Jayden held him close.
“Where’ve you been?” Jordan asked Jayden, walking up to the two of them. -
Chester looked at Jayden, playing with his hair.

“Sorry, Chester wasn’t feeling so good, so we went outside for some fresh air.”

Jordan nodded slowly, looking at Chester, then at Jayden. ‘Oh, okay.’

“Yeah, sorry I didn’t tell you.” Jayden gave an apologetic smile.
