She froze.

He started to blush deeply. "Sorry.." he looked down shyly.

"For what?" she whispered.

"I feel like I made you uncomfortable.." he trailed.

"No..." she whispered, smiling a bit.

"Oh. Good." he smiled back, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.

Her face became every shade of red. She kissed him on the lips.

He cupped her cheek, and kissed her back. He broke away, still smiling.

Whoa. She grinned.

He still stroked her cheek softly.

Evelyn snuggled closer to him.
Downstairs, she could hear the door opening. -
Derrick rubbed circles on her back again. He pressed a kiss at the top of her head.

She smiled.
The two men were talking about something she couldn't make out, but they were laughing about it as well. -
"Sweet they're home", I mumbled.

She pulled away from him, sitting next to him innocently. Her tail flicked on his foot occasionally.
