"Hi..." She yawned again. She rested her head against his shoulder. "I almost caught a bird, but it flew away..."

"You bird catch?" Derrick asked.

"I try not to, but they're so distracting..." She started drifting off.

Derrick nodded. "When I was younger, I used to save animals. I don't know why I stopped." Derrick sighed. "It was fun and good."

She didn't answer. She was asleep.

Derrick looked down when he didnt get an answer. He smiled when he found Evelyn asleep. Derrick pulled her closer to him and wrapped his arms around her securely.

She snuggled into him and kept sleeping.

Derrick kept smiling, she looked pretty precious in her slumber. He turned the volume on the TV so it wouldn't wake her.

Her ear twitched.
Gotta go for a bit. -
Derrick started to become tired. "I might as well rest to.." he whispered, turning off the tV.
Byyee. -
She was still sleeping.

Derrick turned off the TV, and fell asleep. Only for a little bit though. He awakened by his father.
"Derrick." he said.
"What?" Derrick mumbled as he slowly woke up.
"Wanna go to the park with me and my friend?" his dad asked. Derrick only shrugged. -
She was sprawled out like a cat would be, still asleep. She didn't hear them.

"I dunno." Derrick said. "I kinda just wanna be home." he answered.

Her tail tip twitched in her sleep.
