The purring started involuntarily again.

He held her closer and smiled.

The blush brightened.

"So is there anything else that you like to do?" I asked.

She shrugged. "Not really..."

"Oh. Well.. I kinda like writing poems.." Derrick trailed. "Thats the only other thing I really like to do."

She nodded for a moment, and suddenly thought of something else to tell him. "Well, sometimes I like getting high on catnip... but that never goes well."

"I could imagine.." he chuckled.

"Yeah..." She thought back to the last time... definitely did not go well.

"I sometimes accidentally get high off of Sharpies." Derrick said.

"Do you run around like a psychopath attacking people?" she asked.

"To be honest.." Derrick thought. "I did that once." he closed his eyes. "Then I accidentally attacked my dad. Didn't end well."

"Okay, I'm glad I'm not alone then." She smiled.

"Yeah." he smiled back. "So you mentioned something earlier about only talking to your dad, and some hotel workers?"

She nodded. "Yeah. And now you."
