Hi, I`m 11 years old. I`m emo, depressed, gothic, no body. My family is gone. My life is s---. so many problems i have i need love. I need love to get rid of the pain. Dear people, please remember that all of this is offensive to actual emos. Emo is short for emotional. those aren't real types of emo. an actual emo is someone who is depressed or has something else like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.

Yes, I feel the same way, even if I'm not EMO myself, I quite understand people can be quite mad about the defenition of EMO. I'm more of a: OMIGODHOWAREYOUIFYO U'REGOODTHENMETOOCO SIPUKERAINBOWSANDSP RINKLESANDILUVCUPCA KESANDRAINBOWS!!! type of gal. It's not fair to the people who are depressed so much that, other than having pain, have to be known as ''The ones that cut themselves''. I know that a group of kids (If you can count fifteen-year-olds ''Kids'') cut themselves at the hands and wrists as a bet, and they spent MONTHS with scars on their arms, and now, 7 months later, I can still see the white lines when I see my friend writing/drawing.

Seriously memorox. You're an insult to emos like me. "To all of you who think poorly of people who cut..." yeah, I don't think poorly of people who cut because there are no other options, I think poorly of those who KNOW they need help and HAVE THE OPTIONS available (like the internet...) but DON'T bother to get it.

Yes I'll admit I was a cutter myself. When it comes to uctting you're not doing yourself any good. Don't bother with the "it's the only I can deal" crap. You need real help not covering up your pain with more pain. It isn't going to help you in the long run. Does it make you feel better several hours afterward? It didn't for me. I felt worse. Not to mention when you get over things, you'll feel terrible about those scars.

I did some research on this and found out our moods are very closely linked to our foods. In America we eat a diet that is low in protein and fats that are supposed to help our brains make pain fighting neurotransmitters. While we don't eat these things, we feel sad and feel the need to hurt ourselves. It's because we ALLOW our emotions to take over instead thinking rationally, noticing that our pain from cutting isn't actually helping us and we are not going to get better by making things worse. Instead we give up. Instead we reduce to hating ourselves and continue feeling hopeless.

It all could go away with a simple change in diet, or what I did, get more protein, fats, oils, ate four meals a day and started taking some supplements called DLPA and tyrosone...never cut since! So to all of you who whine about how we don't understand or think poorly, just remember, if you can get help, GET IT! once you stop cutting the world won't think badly of you..........

I'm 90% depressed emo and I think about suicide.

Emo does not mean emotional. It comes from a genre of music called emotive hardcore. And yes, there's going to be stereotypes results, only because there are lots of people who are that way, and call themselves emo. The creator of this isn't saying that's what emo is.

I'm am depressed most of the time but I try my hardest to stay happy. I'm not surprised my my results.
