  • I will always love Pittsburgh. Live in Oklahoma and own a bar and restaurant in OKC. We sell Myron Cope's Terrible Towels. I am still made fun of for referring to a group of items and say "these ones". I even had a cat named Nebby. And trying to say the Oklahoma ya'all with a Pittsburgh accent youinsall.

  • Gone 50 years but I still managed to get 94% To MACNAM - Heinz may have made it at some point, but it began as Reymers Lemon Blend. Reymers was a candy and confectionary store.

  • Although I haven't lived in Da Burgh for over 20 years the memories never leave you. I don't really think I use this vocabulary much any more I still have people say to me " Hey, aren't you from Pittsburgh?" to which I say you bet you sweet ass - go Steelers, go Pens, congrats Pirates! :-)

  • Like some of the posts, but if you don't like Pittsburgh--leave. I wish I were back there with REAL people. All of my true friends are from Pittsburgh area even though I have traveled far and wide.

  • Does anyone remember a drink concentrate called BLEND? It was made by Heinz and distributed locally only in the Pittsburgh area back in the 60's. I have been long removed from the Pittsburgh area but have many fond memories of the city. There was also a very popular drive-in on Banksville Rd back then, that was one of the first places to toast sub sandwiches....they could not sell them fast enough. Ring any bells for anyone?

  • Woo 100% pittsburgh! :) I haved lived here all my life. And guys.. people from pittsburgh say "stillers"? We KNOW it's spelled steelers. The maker of the quiz is spelling it how we say it? I have never once heard the word soda spoken in pittsburgh, unless that person didn't grow up here. :) It's pop. My mom talks exactly like what it says in the quiz. lol.
