Jayden sat there. “Fine then. Your relentless emotional abuse towards me and my boyfriend.”

'You can't make your sensitivity my problem,' Astrid said, smirking. 'I'm just stating what we've all been thinking.'

Jayden glared daggers at him, too passed off to say anything. His knuckles clenched to fists.

Chester grabbed his hand, then morphed into a small puppy and climbing into his lap. He figured Jayden would appreciate some cuddling.
Astrid's smirk somehow widened. 'See? Your boyfriend's a puppy.' -
Jayden held Chester close. “And you’re a douche.”

‘Can’t come up with anything better?’ Astrid asked. The servants brought out their food.

“I can say so much more, but Im currently holding a puppy right now, and he’s too innocent for that.”

‘Go on.’

“No.” Jayden turned to puppy Chester, kissing the top of his head.

Chester snuggled closer to him.

Jayden ruffled the top of his head.

Chester licked his hand.

Jayden grinned.

Astrid made a disgusted face. He started eating his food.
