Chester played with Jayden’s hair. The carriage rolled to a stop. Chester kicked Atlas’s foot. Atlas grumbled and kicked his shin.
‘Ow.’
‘Deal with it,’ Atlas said matter-of-factly. They shook Aster’s shoulder a little. ‘Wake up, leaf.’ -
Aster woke up groggily. “Who’s a leaf?”

‘You’re a leaf. Aysteer the leaf,’ Atlas said. Chester handed them the book and helped Jayden out of the carriage.

“Huh?” Aster blinked, sitting up.
Jayden let him with a grin, following. -
‘Don’t worry about it,’ Atlas said, jumping out after Chester and Jayden.
Chester pecked his forehead, watching the servants unload their things. ‘You ready, love?’ -
“I’m worrying about it, but okay.”
Jayden nodded, leaning into his touch. -
‘Shhhhh.’
Chester wrapped his arm around him and started walking up the steps. ‘Should we make a big entrance in the dining room?’ he asked jokingly. -
Aster raised his eyebrows, following them.
“Yessss.” Jayden grinned. -
Chester smiled, pulling him close. Atlas walked behind them, next to Aster. ‘Let’s just watch. This’ll be good.’

Jayden leaned into Chester happily.

Chester smiled, letting him. They walked througj the hall of the castle.

Jayden followed him.

They got to the dining hall. The guards standing there did a double take.

Jayden gave a smirk when he noticed the double take.

The guards pushed open the doors. Chester wrapped an arm around Jayden’s waist.
