Atlas stepped into the room after Chester and Jayden walked into the hallway. ‘… if you say so,’ they said, walking to the bookshelf. They grabbed one of Chester’s old history books.
Chester wrapped his arm around Jayden’s waist. ‘Atlas, if you want to come, be quick.’
Atlas nodded and skimmed the blurb of the book. ‘Yeah, yeah, I’ll be right down, broski.’
‘Broski?’
‘Shhhhh.’ -
“I can take your bags.” Aster offered Jayden and Chester.
“That would be great, thank you.” Jayden handed him his bag. -
‘I can carry mine,’ Chester said. He didn’t trust this scrinkly scrumbo not to drop it.

Aster gave a small nod. “Okay, sir.”

Chester gave a half smile and tugged on Jayden’s hand. ‘Wanna go now?’

Jayden sighed, nodding. “Might as well.”

Chester kissed his forehead and started walking. ‘I love you.’
Atlas stared at Aster. -
“I love you too.” Jayden smiled, following.
Aster noticed. “You’re staring.” He pointed out. He liked to think he was an observant person. -
(IM SCREECHING WHY IS THAT SO FUNNY)
Chester smiled, pulling him close. They got outside and Chester handed his bag to one of his servants, who loaded it into the trunk.
‘I am,’ Atlas said, still staring. -
(BECAUSE ITS STUPID-)
Aster set Jayden’s bag in the carriage. “Why?” -
‘Iunno,’ Atlas shrugged, then climbed into the carriage. Chester helped Jayden in after them, then got in himself.

Aster got in as well, very confused with Atlas.

Atlas opened the book to a random page and started skimming it. Chester sat on the side next to Jayden, pulling him close.

Aster looked over atlas’s shoulder. “What’re you reading?”

‘One of Chester’s books,’ Atlas said, looking at the cover. ‘ “A Guide To Modern Art and its History”.’
‘I want that back when we’re back at the castle, please,’ Chester chuckled.
‘Not if I’m not finished!’
