‘C’mon, let’s go to dinner.’

Jayden smiled, standing up. “Okay.”

Chester stood too, opening the door for him.

“Thanks.” Jayden grinned.

Chester smiled, following him. He grabbed his hand and tugged him close.

Jayden beamed, letting him.

Chester kissed the side of his head. He opened the doors to the dining hall. Maeve, Oliver, and Basil were sitting at a table together. Maeve and Basil were annoying Oliver together. Atlas stood in the kitchen, nagging the chef.
Chester sat next to Oliver. ‘You invited your brother to dinner?’ -
Oliver smiled, nodding. Jayden smiled as he sat down. “Cool!” He offered a hi-five to Basil. “Nice to meet you. I’m Jayden.”

Basil fist-bumped his hand. ‘Good evening, Jason,’ he said, giving a wonky grin. Maeve giggled.

Basil went back to talking to Maeve about how they could go about putting hydrochloric acid in the taps. Oliver gave Chester a tired look.

Jayden eavesdropped on Maeve and Basil. “Just don’t put it in the taps they use to fill up my water glass.” He chuckled.

Atlas brought over a couple of plates which wobbled on their arms. They set them in front of Jayden and Basil. ‘Put what in the what?’
‘Nothing,’ Maeve said immediately. Atlas blinked and left. Another waiter brought the plates out to the rest of them.
