You have no argument. Honestly you're just coming across to all of us as well as your mother as a rude, arrogant, little s---.
-
Being uncomfortable is often triggered by past interactions and cannot be controlled. The human brain is designed to remember bad experiences more than the good. Also, to have a healyth relationship of any sort with any person, you must have a ratio of at least five good experiences to each bad one. If the ratio is not that, uncomfort and discomfort are formed and stay there only to fade after a long time. Eva is not in the fault. She can't control being uncomfortable.
-
I don't feel comfortable explaining.
I don't need an argument. I don't need a reason not to touch someone! -
Thank you Misty.
-
You're welcome. Your reaction is simply an instinct telling you subconsciously that your mother is not a trustworthy enough being to come into physical contact with.
-
Misty, the article those "facts" are from, are from 2001 and the article is actually about why people under appreciate one another. So please stop while you're ahead.
-
Article facts? Nooowww I'm confused.
-
So then, you're content with the fact that some people may see you as a complete a--hole now?
But the problem, Misty, is the way she said it. -
She stated it bluntly. That's normal.
-
No she didn't. She didn't even allude to discomfort with physical contact. She alluded to something far else.
"I don't need a reason to reject your physical affection." -
No, that's not normal. And that comes off as rude. She could've said that she was uncomfortable with being touched.
-
Instead she told her mother she doesn't need a reason to not want her love.
-
Being uncomfortable is hard to control, but you can still face two seconds of discomfort for the sake of another person who will get hours of good feelings from it.
It's like how I might be terrified of this freaky-ass spider on my wall, but I'll take two seconds of close proximity to the spider in order to smash it and make things better. -
Well I don't see why people see me as an a--hole for not touching someone o.o
And I said it straightforward... -
@Appa I COULD but I don't HAVE TO and I'm not obligated to. If I don't want to touch someone, I don't have to.
