  1. You flopped down on the couch beside America, whose nose was buried in a book. As usual. "Hey you." You nudged him. "... Hm? Oh, ____. Hi." You rolled your eyes and snatched up the book. "Whatcha reading?" He took it back, trying to look annoyed and failing miserably. "Britain talked me into reading Sherlock Holmes."
  2. You tucked up your feet and crossed your arms on your knees. "Is it good?" He nodded distractedly. You waited a few beats before speaking again. "Will you read some aloud for me?" He blinked at you. "Really?" You nodded, leaning your head against his shoulder. "Well... Okay." He cleared his throat.
  3. "To Sherlock Holmes she is always the woman. I have seldom heard him mention her under any other name. In his eyes she eclipses and predominates the whole of her sex. He placed his finger under your chin and caught your lips in a gentle kiss. You were still too sleepy to fully understand what was happening, so you went along with it and kissed back. After a moment, he pulled away. "I'll have to fix that, then."
