Yay, giggling. .3.
xD Okay, okay, good.
"Che, Girvan! Girvan!" his father called to him, shaking him to call him awake. But Girvan was completely passed out and didn't respond to his shouting. The father didn't know what to do but to keep shaking him, and to try to call the attention of others to try to wake him. -
"You're done for the day." The woman said as he finished. "Try to get some rest or something." "Yes, ma'am." He got up and headed to his room, but after passing a window he saw something that caught his eye. Someone had fallen again on the field...Girvan?! Shocked, he ran to get a bucket of water and rags again, urgently sneaking over to help.
-
Soon enough they were around him, this time around without anything to actually help. The youngest of the men ran to get the bucket from before, but it was empty. From all the fainting of before.
"Che, suppose maybe he's okay and he'll wake up?" they asked, oblivious to the fact that there was a presence behind them. -
Jamie ran forward. "Hey! Don't worry, I have something!" He went forward with everything, not wasting a moment. He gently dampened a rag and put it on Girvan's forehead, trying to cool him down. "Did he just fall?" He asked, worriedly.
-
"Martin here told us that he passed out, then fell," the youngest said to him, nodding as he spoke. "Maybe he is dehydrated."
Meanwhile, Girvan began to twitch lightly. But not much otherwise. -
He looked back down and got another rag, damping it and lightly wiping his cheeks and dry lips. His hand slightly shook either in fear or shyness. "I think he'll wake up soon. I think it might be over work and overheating."
-
He nodded. "Gracias. We were worried about him. We're thankful that you came to risk yourself to help him."
Girvan opened his eyes lightly, dazed for a moment. But when he saw one particular Gringo, he shut them quickly. God, not him again. -
"It-It's no trouble." He smiled softly, then could swear he saw Girvan start to wake up. "H-hey..are you awake?" He took the rag away and dampened it with cool water again.
-
"Very.. much eso," he grumbled weakly. His entire body trembled, like if he were cold. "Why would matter to you how I am..?"
-
He started like he was going to say something, but stopped. Somehow he felt his heart beating like crazy, like a drum. "I just...don't want to see you hurt. I was scared..."
-
"Escared? I eshould be escared for you. You come, risk being hung, to help eslaves.. Almost pathetic," he replied, yet his eyes softened a little to hear him say that. His voice, though, still sounded angry.
-
He watched his eyes, his only hope that the other didn't truly hate him. "I don't care for the risks. This is what I want to do."
-
Now a smile. A very soft smile, but it was there. "An esweet Gringo.. Only one I feel respect to," he muttered softly, his eyes darting away from Jamie's.
-
He smiled as well, his heart still racing. "I..I'm glad. I respect you too." He blushed, looking down slightly.
-
"How can I know can trust you?" he continued to mutter, noticing his blush. He remained silent and ignored it otherwise.
