Headmaster: When the boy walked by, I shoved him to the ground, then ran, throwing Juliet over my shoulder.
I screamed, slamming my fists on her back. "HELP! PUT ME DOWN! JERRY, HEELP!" -
I jumped up immediately and ran after them. My pulse rushed like never before, I couldn't let her get away. I couldn't.
-
All I was focused on doing at that second was trying to make sure that Jerry wasn't going to get caught to. I looked around, and calmed down a bit when I didn't see his dad anywhere.
Headmaster: I tried to lose the boy in the woods, winding through trees and long-lost paths. -
I jumped logs, ducked branches, and kept them in my sights.
-
"J-Jerry, no! You'll get caught!" I yelled back at him, still struggling to get out of the Headmaster's arms.
-
I ignore Juliet's warnings, I wasn't going to let her go.
-
"Jerry, go! Please!" I begged him. If I couldn't keep myself from getting caught, I at least wanted him to make it. "Please!"
-
I shook my head, still running. I was gaining on them.
-
I kept trying to get away, but I was mainly focused on Jerry. "No! Go, now Jerry!"
-
I was almost close enough to touch her hand. She wasn't getting away.
-
I tried shove the headmaster away, but her hold was to tight.
Headmaster: I was starting to think that maybe one kid wasn't worth all this trouble. -
I reached for her hand, it was so close.
-
I reached back to Jerry, and our fingers could ust barely touch. It made me feel better just to know he was there.
[i]Headmaster: I was starting to slow down a bit- I was so tired from the running. -
I grasped at her hand, almost.
-
"Don't go, don't go." I said to him.
Headmaster: I was beginning to stumble a bit- the terrain had become even more rocky as we went deeper into the forest.
