I stop. "Wait, where are we?"

I pull out my map. "To far." I say, looking at a streetsign. "We need to go back two blocks, then take a left."

I glanced at the map, the signs, and nodded. "I've got about 200 dollars on me."

"How much!?" I look at him shocked. "Where did you get all that?"

I scratched my scar guiltily. "My parents. I doubt they'll know it's gone."

"Oh. Right. Some kids at the orp gave me mine, but I've still only got about thrity." We arrive at a store with camping supplies in the window.

"There." I point to a two person tent.

"That's good." I go in and find the tent.

I wait patiently for her outside.

I take it to the cashier, handing her the money.
Cashier: "Are your parents here...?" -
I watch, the cashier was asking her questions.

Me: "I'm justing picking this p for them."
Cashier: "I guess that's okay..."
She scans the tent, then watches me as I walk out the door. -
"Any trouble?" There was that protective instinct again.

"I think she's kind of suspicious..." I look back, to see the cashier staring. "We have to go." I tell Jerry, holding the tent with one and and his hand with the other.

I get shivers when she takes my hand, and I can't help but smile. "Yeah, let's get outta here."
