I swiped my hand across my face, drying my face. I ran my finger through my hair.

"O-okay." I tried to think, mainly to take my mind off whatever was bothering Juliet. "If we leave the forest, we might be able to find somewhere to stay." I rotated my shoulder, it was beginning to hurt again.

I nodded again. "We should get going before he comes back."

I stood up, rubbing my shoulder. "Agreed."

I looked back at him. "Your shoulder still hurt?"

"Just a bit, it comes and goes. But I'll be fine."

"Okay." I walked up next to him, setting one of my hands on his shoulder.

Her gentle touch didn't hurt my shoulder, and I smiled.

I smiled softly, hoping he was okay. "We can do this."

I gently grabbed her hand. "Together."

I looked in his face, hoping he wouldn't see the guilt in my own.

Her face was different, something seemed out of place.

I looked down again, and swung my hand back and forth.

"Are you sure everything is alright?" I felt bad for pushing her, but she seemed troubled.

"Yah, everything is fine."
