We finished the tent just as it was getting dark. "There we go." I held open the flap for Juliet. -

I crawled in, sitting down towards the back of the tent. -
I crawled in aft her and sat down. "Long day."

"Tired?"

I yawned. "A bit, you?"

"Yep." I lay back.

I lied down next to him, holding onto one of his hands. "We'll head west tomorrow."

I kept a firm but gentle hold on her hand, almost afraid something might come and snatch her away from me again.

I leaned my head against his shoulder, trying to calm down enough to fall asleep.
Nate: I climbed back down the tree, looking around as I started to walk back down the path. -
I closed my eyes as the smell of roses from her hair drifts into my nose.

Now the smell was mixed with grass, but it was still wonderful.

I slowly began to drift off to sleep, keeping close to Jerry.
Nate: After a bit of walking, I made it to the park. -
I felt her breathing slow to a gentle rate, and it calmed me.

*Juliet falls asleep*
Nate: I lightened my steps when I saw the tent pitched again. I hoped they wouldn't hear me.
