I closed the blinds, blocking out the sun.

He poured two cups of coffee and left the room, going to Piper's. He knocked on the door.

I heard a knock on the door. "Come in." I said tiredly.

He opened the door awkwardly and came in. He gave her a slight smile. "Good morning."

"Morning" I said quietly.

"I, um, made some coffee if you want..." He placed a cup on the counter.

I smiled a bit. "Thanks." I said taking a sip of the coffee.

He nodded, sipping his own coffee.

The timer for my eggs went off. I put down the coffee and headed towards the stove.

He stared down into the coffee, tired.

I took the eggs off the stove and ate one absentmindedly. Human food was better then nothing.

"You sleep well?" he asked, looking at her then taking another drink of the coffee.

I looked up at him. "Fine I guess." I said as I shrugged.

"That's good..."
