"Yeah..." I trailed off awkwardly.

He glanced up at her, and back at the coffee.

I closed my eyes and leaned against the table. Something wasn't right...

He frowned. "What's wrong?"

I opened my eyes and looked up at him. "I-I don't know, I-I just have this...this strange feeling somethings wrong..."

(Er, can you tell me what you're planning so when it happens, I can respond correctly?)
"You sure?" he asked, his face full of concern. -
(I planning on the cops tracking us down, and me having to drink their blood)
"Ye-" I was cut off my sirens going off outside. -
(Ah.)
He stood up, walking over to the window. He glanced out, trying to not be seen from below. Two police cars sat in the parking lot, sirens blaring and lights flashing. -
"s---" I muttered. I looked at him. "Any escape plans?"

He shook his head, then came to a realization. He had a vampire with him. Even though he wasn't too keen on her drinking from a human... "You hungry?"

I realized what he as saying and slowly smiled. "Starving."

He grinned. "Enjoy yourself, then."

I smiled and slowly made my way to the door. I could hear them coming up the stairs.

He watched her, not daring to follow her.
