"And," he started backing toward the forest, "I'd love to tell you it, but unfortunately, we have to go!" He turned, darting the rest of the way to the forest and running through the trees. The two officers followed.

I ran after Tyler, knowing the officers were right behind me. Vampire speed, please help me. I thought picking up my pace.

Tyler looked back, seeing Piper catching up with him. Soon she was running beside him. "So what do you think? Kill them?"

"It matters how long they fallow us for." I said, my fangs out.

Tyler didn't bother to mention that they'd find the blood bags if they went back to the car. Just keep running...

I looked behind us and saw the police turning back. "We can stop now." I said.

He stopped running. "Okay." But what now? He hadn't exactly thought the whole thing through...

I stopped and sighed.I closed my eyes. "I think there's a small town near here, we can go there."

I started in the direction.

He followed her. Okay, it was stupid, but at least we don't have the cops following us anymore...

I looked around for any cops or people around. I should have grabbed the blood...

He frowned. I should've grabbed my bag. I'll have enough money for a while right now, maybe until I get home, but still...
