I turned around to see them.

On both sides of the highway there were forests thickening the farther you got away from the road. "Pull over."

"What?" I asked shocked.

"Pull over," he repeated.

"And let them catch us? No thanks, I wanted this to be clean."

"Trust me."

I sighed. "Fine." I said and pulled over.

He looked back at the cops, then back at Piper. "Ready to make a run for it?"

"Yep." I said with my hand on the door handle.

"Good." The cops pulled over behind them as he got out of the car.

I jumped out and slowly walked backwards towards the forest.

He stood still, aware that Piper was walking toward the forest. "Sorry officers, it's a long story of why we needed this car..."

I stopped right at the edge of the forest.
