"Alright... But after I get a coffee, I'm parched." -
"Okay,"I said, intertwining our fingers together.

We strolled into the cafe. I ordered one coffee, black, with a hint of sugar.

Once we sat down at a table I decided that I wanted to catch up.
"So, what has you been doing?" -

"I haven't been doing too much lately. Just reading through the Bible and writing. How about you? It must be hectic, getting ready for your big day."

"It's can be a bit much at times....but, as you can see I'm still alive."

I nodded, taking a sip of my coffee. "I hope you'll keep it that way."

"I'll try,"I said grinning. "Are you going to come tomorrow?"
I wondered if my father had even sent him the invitation like he said that he was. -
"To the wedding? I don't know, am I supposed to? Don't you think it'll make things more complicated than they already are?"

"I'll go, if you want me to... I just thought you might have felt better off if I wouldn't be there. You could move on without having a constant reminder in front of you." I took another sip of my coffee.

"You're right. You shouldn't go. The experience would be horrible for both of us. If I saw you tomorrow, I'd probably have a meltdown of...an extreme degree."
