I nodded. "He deserves to know." My father raised his eyebrows.
"I deserve to know about what?" -
"A few days ago I gave Aaron something. It's the demolition papers. I know that these are the only copies and that he can't legally bring this place down without showing them to the crew first. So, we were thinking of destroying them."

He grinned. "You kids are clever. Very, very clever..."

I handed Aaron's father the paper.
"Since you're the owner, I think you should have the honor of destroying it." -
(Chocolate is the answer.)
My father took the paper into his hands and read it over briefly. "Thank you. I'll take care of this." He retreated back to his office, the paper in hand.
I watched him leave, then turned back to Phoebe. "I think we have a decent chance." -

"You don't think. You know." -

I smiled and nodded slightly. "You're right. I do know." -

"Yep. You do." I smiled a bit. -

I laced my fingers with hers. "It'll work out, somehow I just know it will." -
(Why couldn't your mum just decide? And.. I know that brothers can be very big pests.)
"Of course it will. We have our ways of getting stuff worked out." -
