Thread Topic: So...

-
(Yeah.)
I slung my bag over my shoulder and walked out of the back entrance. It was much easier avoiding the student body. I wouldn't get pointed glances and snickers that way. -
( I'm reading this book and it's about a world where love is considered a disease)
Evan tried to put his arm around me.
"Touch me, and die."I said icily. He pulled back his arm with a mumbled,"Have it your way."
I then started the walk home. -
(:o Is it called Delirium?)
I cut through the woods. It was a lot faster than taking the main roads, and it was an easy way to avoid people. I gazed up at the sky as I walked. The sun glistened, the green leaves reflecting its light. The way the sun positioned itself behind the trees made this place seem like a utopia, a mystifying land where all worries melted away. -
(...lemmme check....Yes it is.)
First thing I did was go to the garden when I got home. It was my happy place. -
(HOLY SHIET. I just finished that book the other day. What part are you at? Are you enjoying it?)
As soon as I reached my house, I noticed the sign and post in the front yard. SCHEDULED FOR DEMOLITION. I walked in through the front door, tripping over the suitcases by the stairs. So, this was it. We were really going to let them win. -
My father called saying that he was going to pick me up, and take me to Aaron's house for the demolition.
"Oh no. What's going to happen to them?"I thought to myself before remembering that we had the demolition papers. -
"Aaron," my dad said solemnly, sitting in the kitchen. "Gather up the last of your things. We're leaving in an hour."
-
(the very beginning, i just got it today)
-
(You're going to love it. "I love you. Remember. They cannot take it.")
I walked up to my room and pried up the loose floorboard. There sat my grandmother's journal, a black moleskin book with yellowing pages. I tucked it into my pocket before putting the floorboard back into place. -
When we arrived I jumped out of the car, ran up the stairs, and knocked on the door. When Aaron opened them, I asked,"Do you still have them?"
-
I nodded, reaching into the top drawer of my desk. I pulled the papers out. "Here they are."
-
*into my pocket
-
"We need to get this over with and destroy them. Like I said before he can't legally take this place don without showing them to the demolition crew."
-
I nodded. "Exactly."
My father stood behind my, scowling. "What's this we're talking about?"
