I don't think having a funeral is over-dramatic. Any pet you have is like a family member.
I would just focus on the time that you can spend with her ❤ -

hey if it helps i have a cat that's older than i am, we'll both be turning 18 this year. hes still trucking as normal as ever, super healthy, acts like he's 5 years young and is fat as f---. cats are super resilient, i wouldn't worry about your girl for many more years

that's how it is for me everyday, I'm never hungry and then at the end of the day I get hungry and eat one giant meal. its not bad because I'm actually the exact weight I need to be

also yeah I would totally have a full fledged funeral for my pets, ngl. its okay because everyone grieves in their own way and you do whatever you need to do to gan closure.
