Before You Say Goodbye part 5

So, you might or not already know that an author called Natuhleegayle (author who inspired me to write. One of the many)got her story stolen by another user on a different site.

The story is the exact same as hers. Its very upsetting that someone works hard to write and their story is stolen. You might be thinking that it's not that big of a deal. But, think about it. If your story that you had spent a long time writing got stolen, how would you feel? (Sorry that there's nothing about the story but I just felt like I had to write something about it)

  1. I can't believe that I put marriage on my list of things on my bucket list. Maybe I'll just cross it off and try to come up with something more realistic. I snatched the list away from Jack and crossed off Marriage. That's when I glanced at the thing below it. Even worse. Children. Outside the snow began to fall. Oh yeah, I almost forgot that it's Christmas eve.
  2. It was a winter wonderland outside, from the view from inside. But honestly the weather was extreme, each person who stepped outside would receive frost-bite in an instant. I preferred being inside, near the Bunsen burners and candles.
  3. Nurses didn't trust patients with fireplaces, so we used Bunsen burners and candles for heat, but only under the supervision of nurses. The furnace went out is getting repairs. What rotten luck of all times. I rubbed my hands together trying to warm them.
  4. It didn't work very well, but little was better than nothing. Jamie was the nurse who 'supervised' me. Jack's leg has healed by now, but he told his parents it was important for him to stay at the hospital in case his leg breaks again.
  5. It was a complete lie and whenever he lies, he simply cannot stop smiling. At times, when he lies he has a striking resemblance to the Cheshire cat only because of his smile. Jamie wasn't much of a help but, he was someone to talk to.
  6. Christmas saddened me a bit knowing that I wouldn't be able to see the snow again, or even half of the year next year. I know my time is running short which is why I must cross off the things on my bucket list hastily.
  7. If I could, I would love to be married and adopt children but, I can't now. I planned that to happen until I got a little older. Now that I think about it, I should really make Jamie and Jack a gift using my knit, crochet or needlepoint skills since I have bunches of extra supplies.
  8. I gathered my supplies and informed Jamie and Jack that I was taking a nap and wanted to be left alone. That's when I made their presents. I made a pair of mittens for Jamie and a scarf for Jack. I heard footsteps coming from outside coming closer.
  9. I shoved the mittens and scarf under my bed in a hurry, pulled the covers over me and closed my eyes. "I know you're awake. There's no use pretending." It was the voice of Jack. He didn't question what I was doing but he led me out of the room and down the staircase to the cafeteria.
  10. Curtains, twinkle lights and ornaments had been put up around the room. In the center of the room a table with a red tablecloth was set with fancy silverware, nothing any of the other patients would be trusted to use. He sat me down and turned on the stereo. The music was jazz, one of my favorite categories of music. After he came back toward the table he got down on one knee and asked the one question many girls love to hear. Just those four words changed my life forever.
