Normally I post about every weekend but I couldn't because my studies have gotten harder and more time consuming so I haven't really had the chance to write.

Anyway, It's already 2013. I don't have any new years resolutions because whenever I make them, it's usually just a goal next year. I don't see why I should bother with it if I'm not even going to do the new years resolution.

  1. I fell asleep in the flying car while listening to the constant bickering of almost half the Weasley family. All grew quiet, the haunting silence and the chills down my spine had followed me from Malfoy Manor. I woke feeling a certain loving warmth that only a family can give. It also may have been the jackets Fred and George had put around me. The Malfoys never thought about buying me a coat, or even considered the thought of letting me outstide. If I ever got chilly, Draco would let me borrow one of his, or I would just take it from his room when he wasn't around. It wasn't stealing, only borrowing. Draco always knew and it wasn't that big of a deal. I had found myself squished in between the Weasley twins when I had first opened my eyes. I could say that my head was tilted more towards Fred but, the three of us were so close together is was rather difficult to judge. When the car stopped at a quaint and cozy looking home, Ron hurried from his seat up front in shot gun to wake George.
  2. "They're heavy sleepers, do if it's ever your turns to wake them, you don't have to hold back under any circumstances. I'll show you how I wake them up out of their hibernation." He was interrupted in the middle of his tutorial on how to wake the twins when a middle aged woman and a girl about one year younger rushed from the house to us. They ran and crushed Ron and me both in their bear hugs. I've never been fond of hugs. Hugs always make me feel enclosed in a small space which I find extremely uncomfortable.
  3. "I'm Ginny! We'll be roommates until you go to Hogwarts which will only be in a few days. I hope we get along like sisters!" Ginny really seem excited about having a roommate, or just another girl in the house.
  4. "May I please finish my example? I was about to show Scarlet how to wake up one of the twins if it's her turn." Ginny and I nodded and Mrs.Weasley kissed him on the cheek. Ron stepped a foot away from George, raised his hand and started to slap George. Unfortunately George refused to wake and as a result Ron continued to slap him. "Wake the bloody heck up ypu no good bum!" The slapping continued for several minutes.
  5. "May I please finish my example? I was about to show Scarlet how to wake up one of the twins if it's her turn." Ginny and I nodded and Mrs.Weasley kissed him on the cheek. Ron stepped a foot away from George, raised his hand and started to slap George. Unfortunately George refused to wake and as a result Ron continued to slap him.   6. "Isn't this a bit much just to wake someone up?" I whispered to Ginny.
  7. "Not really, this is usual behavior." She answered back.
  8. "May I try?" I spoke up this time to have every Weasley that wasn't unconscious to stare at me in surprise. I went over to George and pushed him out of his car seat so he fell out onto the muddy ground. He woke immediately from that. "That, is how it's done." I commented while carrying my sack of luggage into the house following Ginny into our room leaving the rest of the family members amazed. We passed many cluttered bedrooms as we walked up a couple flights of stairs and through a hallway. The one on the end of a hallway had a sign stating that it was forbidden that any boy enters her bedroom. The sign said this exactly "˜Ginny and Scarlet's room. No boys allowed. That means Fred, George, Bill, Percy and Ron aren't allowed. I don't care if your wearing a dress and a wig, I won't fall for it this time.' I laughed at the sign knowing that what the sign had said was exactly what seemed like the twins would have had done. Ginny took several minutes at the door unlocking and undoing the charms and locks that were on her door. If her room was any more organized, people would have thought she was an utter perfectionist. Everything was organized and put away. Her closet overflowed with dresses that she says her family bought her and she has never grown out of.
  9. "You should freshen up, we're having a celebration to the new family member." With that, Ginny scurried off downstairs to do chores beforehand and left me alone in her room to get ready. After taking a shower, working on my hygene, and finally throwing on a white simple dress that mostly used for cleaning the house on days visitors would come over at Malfoy Manor. "Is that what you're wearing? That's not acceptable at all. Go back and change. This time I'll pick out your clothes." was the reply I received from Ginny when I exited her room, only to be insulted and pushed back into the bathroom by Ginny. She may have had been a year younger but, height was one of her advantages. She held several dresses up trying to match my skin tone, throwing the ones that didn't work out into a pile on the floor. This continued until we both simply agreed on one dress. It was beige with lighter layers of tooling, strapless and a pair of matching beige platforms. When I exited the bathroom, finished from changing, Ginny gave me a broad smile with a thumbs up. I tied my almost lengthy hair back into a high ponytail. When Ginny brought up the idea of me wearing make-up, I instantly turned her down but she duct taped my arms to the chair so I couldn't escape. In the end, I had no choice but I could at least try. There was a knock on the door signaling our time was almost up. Ginny threw a handful of glitter on me and opened the door, allowing me to put my weight on the wall to keep myself from tripping. Behind that door was Fred and George.
  10. "Hey Scarlet, we've come to- Woah! You look fantastic." George started but his jaw dropped.
  11. "Couldn't have said it better myself George. We've come to escort you downstairs." I linked elbows with them to attempt to have bettter balance and to not make a fail out of myself while walking in these shoes. How can any simple human walk in these. They must lift me up about six inches. When walking up these stairs earlier in tennis shoes, it was a snap. Now with these shoes, it seems like hiking down a mountain. When I entered the dining room, Mrs.Weasley was serving people while Ron, Percy, Mr.Weasley and Ginny were already seated. The Weasley boys except Gerorge and Fred were ogling the food but when they saw me, their jaws dropped. When I reached the ground my legs gave out and the twins decided to carry me to the table. I was plopped in between both of them, just like the car ride here. Fred stuck a bow on my hair and George put a card on some string around my neck. The note read 'To: Fred and George, happy birthday. Hope you enjoy your present.' I passed around the letter so all Weasleys could view the card.
  12. "She's not your birthday present." Cut in Ron.
  13. "I have to disagree, little brother." Said the twins. With that, Ron and the twins began to bicker like any other family. I have a feeling that it's going to be a long couple of years, but I already love my new family.
