Ok, so your mom has died, you find out your real parents are gods, Ian is a Demigod. You find out something very strange about Mike and James... what is it?

  1. His eyes are dark. Real, dark. He came back from the dead. He can read minds, and put thoughts in them. He might have supper strength. His father's Hades. You keep thinking of these things, over and over they chase through your mind like a buzzard circling over something dead. And me. My mother is Athena, and my father, is Apollo... The ones I have loved, and do love, aren't even mine to love. How will I tell my dad? And my mom, does she know now? Was there even a heaven? Or a God? Or is mom trapped in the Underworld? You haven't been able to sleep.
  2. Friday. School goes by quickly. Before you know it, school's over and you head home. "Hey dad." "Hey, I was thinking. Maybe we could do something tonight." "Oh, I'm really sorry but I have a date to go to." "A date? With who?" "This guy, Mike. He's from school. It's not that serous." "Where are you two going?" "The movies. Amy and Jake are going too." "Well, alright." he says. "just be careful, please." "I will." You hug him and head upstairs. He sighs and mutters under his breath, "I don't want to loose you too, ________."
  3. It's 5:30 You have three hours until Mike comes to get you at 8:30 "What to wear, what to wear..." you mutter as you go through your closet. You decide on a white blouse and your skinny jeans. Nothing to fancy. You think to yourself. You look at yourself in the mirror. You have your hair down. You put on some mascara, and some blush. "Ugh!" You say. "This isn't working." "_________," you hear. "You are beautiful. If he doesn't see that, then he isn't worthy of you." "Mom?" you ask. "I mean, my real mom, Athena?" "Yes, my daughter. I am truly sorry for what has happened to you. All will be resolved soon." "Wait, I need to talk to you, I-" she was gone.
  4. Mike pulls up in his car. You hear the doorbell ring. You smile and walk to your bedroom door. You turn around to grab your purse and when you turn around Ian is standing there. "God! You scared the heck out of me!" you say. "What are you doing here? I have a date, I have to leave." "I don't think you should go." "What do you mean? It will be fine." You try to get by but he blocks you. "Ian!" "Please," he says grabbing your arm. "Don't go." "I'm sorry." you say as you push by him. You walk down the stairs and meet Mike. "Ready?" he asks. "Yep!" you say. Ian watches from the shadows. "Well, you guys have a good time. I'll see ya when you get back." "Thanks daddy." you say as you kiss his cheek. You get into his car. "You look nice," he says. "Thanks, you too." You both laugh because your wearing normal clothes. You pull into the theater parking lot. You see Amy and Jake. "Hey, guys!" "Hey!" Amy says. "What should we see?" "How about Breaking Dawn? I heard it was good." You end up going to Breaking Dawn. You all are just sitting there, watching the movie. Then near the end at a very intense part you grab Mike's hand. After realizing what you had just done, you say, "Oh, I'm sorry," "Why are you apologizing?" He says smiling. You smile back and deiced to let him keep your hand.
  5. After the movie's over, Mike takes you home. "I had fun tonight," he says walking you to your front door. "Me too," you say. "I really wanna kiss you," he says blushing. "I hope you don't mind me saying that." "I don't," you say. "But, not yet. You are really sweet, Mike, but maybe on our second date." He laughs and smiles. "Okay. See ya later." "Bye!" You walk inside. "How was it?" your dad asks. "It was good." "Alright, then. I'm going to bed. I was just staying up to make sure that you got home safely." "Dad, I know I've apologized so many times, but, I'm so very sorry. I truly am. I thought it was hard for me, but I can't possibly imagine what your going through." You hug him and head upstairs. A tear drops from his face.
  6. You get into our room and shut the door. You sigh. "You wanted to, why didn't you?" "What the-" you turn around to see Ian. "What the heck are you still doing here?" "Just like your dad said, I wanted to make sure you got home safely. That's what a guardians do." "Right." you say sitting on your bed. "I can't believe I had almost forgotten about all that. So what do you mean by 'You wanted to, why didn't you?'" "He wanted to kiss you, you wanted to kiss him. Why didn't you?" " How do you know I wanted to-" "I can read minds." you hear in your head. "Right." you sigh. "Well, I just think it hasn't been long enough for that. And why don't you want me around him? " "He's not who you think his is." he says jumping out your window. You go to sleep.
  7. Saturday. You wake up to the sound of your alarm clock. It's 10:00. You head downstairs for breakfast. "Your up early," your dad says. "I was expecting you to sleep til at least 2:00." "I was thinking of going to the library. I have some research to do." "Okay, then." your dad says a little confused. You never liked reading. You head to the library. You walk in and it's pretty empty. You go over to the mythology section. You find the area about Greek gods. You grab a book off the bookshelf titled: 'The History and Myths of Greek Gods.' You flip to the Table of Contents. Olympians page 15. You turn to page 15 and start reading. 'The Olympians are perhaps the most important and most powerful gods.' You look down to Athena's section. 'Athena is goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, just warfare, mathematics, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts, and skill.' Wow, that's a lot. You think to yourself. 'She is the favorite dautghter of Zeus.' You turn to Apollo's section next. 'Apollo is god of light and the sun, truth and prophecy, healing, plague, music, poetry, medicine and knowledge.' You next look up Demigods. A Demigod is a half mortal half god. 'These hybrids are stronger, braver, and quicker than other mortals. They can accomplish super-human abilities that are only possible because of their divine part. They go out of their way to prove themselves, often engaging beasts too powerful for any human to defet.'
  8. Just then you hear a voice in your head. "What are you reading?" It's Ian's voice. You turn around to see him just standing there, his brown hair in his face. "Just-" you think for a second. "Nothing." You close the book. "Nothing?" he asked taking book from you. "I see," he says flipping through the book. He places it back on the table. He looks at you like he's reading your mind. And he is. "So you want to know how I came back to life," "Well, yeah. I mean, I read that Demigods can't come back to life." "Hmm. I knew you would ask." he says. "I did die, I went down to the Underworld, but my father, Hades, sent me back up." "Wait, so just because your dad's Hades, you can come back to life anytime you die?" "Well, no. My dad kind of sent me here, to protect you." "Wait. Hades? The god of the Underworld? Why would he want you to protect me?" "Like I said before. You are very powerful. Zeus doesn't want you to be with him and the other gods, he's afraid you'll take his power from him." "What about my parents?" "Zeus was angry at Athena, she was a virgin before her and Apollo got together. He, well, he didn't really want to have anything to do with you." "That's kinda harsh!" "Yeah, I know. So, even if my dad rules the Underworld, I think he just wants to help. At least that's what I'm hoping." "I'm sure your right." You both smile. And you just stare at eachother for a minute. He comes in to kiss you, and you do the same. Just when your lips are about to touch he backs away. "No. I can't. I have to protect you." "What do you mean?" "I'm sorry. I can't do this." He gets up and leaves. You sigh. You get up and leave. You go out to your now frixed car and call Amy. "Hey, Amy. You wanna meet up at the mall? Okay. Sure. See you there! Bye."
  9. You drive over to the mall and meet Amy in the food court. You get some lunch from Chick-fil-a. "So, are you and Mike serous?" she asks. "I don't know. He's really sweet, but you know what always happens with the football player/popular people." "Well, I've seen the way he looks at you. He really likes you!" "Yeah, that's what you said about Ian." "Yeah but he's kinda hard to figure out. You gotta love the mysterious type." "Yeah." you say looking kind of confused. After you eat you head over to do some shopping. You go into Aeropostle, your favorite store. "Oh, how about this one?" Amy says as she holds up a t-shirt. "Haha," you say. "What about this?" You both laugh. You stay at the mall all afternoon. You go see a movie and when it finnishes it's dark outside. You head to your cars. Amy leaves and you search in your purse for your keys. It's really dark and no one else is in the parking lot but you. You hear some guys yelling in the distance. "Hey, beautiful," "Hey, you wanna get a drink with me?" They're getting closer, and you can't find your keys. They come right up to you. You just freeze. One of them grabs your arm. "Where do you think your going?" "Let go of me!" you say. "I think she wants to party with us." "No I don't, let go of me!" "Let go of her!" Comes a voice. You turn it's Mike and James. "Excuse me?" one of them says. "I said let go of her. Do you need to get your hearing checked?" Mike says. They let go of you and walk towards Mike. "Are you trying yo upset me, boy?" "I think I should be asking you!" he yells as he transforms into a giant wolf. The two guys run away and he chases them. James also transformers and chases after them. You are in shock, you find your keys and try and drive home.
  10. "You were sure out late." your dad says as you come inside. You just chase by and run up the stairs. "________?" You don't hear him. You go into your room and slam the door. What's happening? You ask yourself.
