  1. I awoke in a dark room with a single light over me. Like a spotlight. I was in a chair with my hands behind my back. When I tried to move them something scratchy and rough made my wrists itch. Rope? I tried to wriggle my hands out but the friction started to burn my wrists. "Oww." Then I realized someone could be in this room watching me. "Hello? Anyone there?" No one answered. But I didn't care. "Why am I tied up?" I heard a couple footsteps but still saw nothing. "For your safety." "Wouldn't I be safer untied?" "It's also so I can keep an eye on you." I was furious. "I can take care of myself! I don't need you to keep an eye on me!" I heard some more steps an he finally stepped into the light. He had his outrageously blue eyes and had brown hair. It was styled just like Justin Bieber's, but he could pull it off. He has a leather jacket with a blue shirt under, and some jeans and black tennis shoes. He was very attractive. "I wouldn't have to watch you if you had a better choice in friends." "What do you mean by that!" He laughed. "You know, the vampire, the werewolf, and the fire bender." I really didn't know what he meant. He looked at me truely intrested. "Your friends....."
  2. "No you lie!" He looked sympethetic. Like truely sympathetic. I was crying because I didn't want to believe his words. "I'm sorry but it's true." I was leaned over my lap crying still tied to the chair. "Tell me it's not true. Everyone? Even Macey?" He looked confused. "You're friends with her to?" My hopes perked up. "Is she something?" He looked down. "What is she?!" I screamed. I needed one normal friend. "She's a..." "What! Tell me!" I was practically going to fly out of my chair. "A werewolf." Macey a werewolf? "I'm sorry about your friends. You just are very special and no one not even me can let you into her hands." "Who? Macey?" he shook his head. "Someone much more dangerous." "Who? is it someone I know?" Again he shook his head. "It's a good thing to. Otherwise you wouldn't be here in front of me." I did a little fake laugh. "Like that's much better." He hastely walked to me and put his hand gentally on my face and looked deeply into my eyes. "That hurts. Please understand I'm just trying to help. I don't want to see you get hurt and know I could have done something." He really was sweet, but I was still tied to this chair. I looked down hoping he would get the message. He smiled at me. "You want out don't you? Well I'll let you go if you promise not to leave." I nodded as my yes. He went around to my back and I could feel tugging on my wrists. Soon he was back in my line of sight and my hands were free. I rubbed my now sore wrists. "Thanks." He held out his hand and helped me out of the chair. I tripped and fell into him. His arms caught me and he pulled me up off of him to look at me. His blue eyes looked deep into me, but I kind of liked it. My eyes closed and I started to lean in until my hair blew in my face. I opened my eyes to see me balencing on air.
  3. I was about to hit my face againt the ground when I was caught. Maleish muscely arms were on my waist. I didn't move, because everything was happening at the speed of light. When I was pulled up to see my savior from eating cement, I found Alex. I pushed him away. "Why didn't you tell me! Did you ever plan on telling me?!" Alex looked hurt, like I killed his mom hurt. "I couldn't tell you just yet. You were still getting in the swing of things." I crossed my arms and gave him the most sassy look I could give. He grabbed a hold of my shoulders. "Look, I didn't want you to move in thinking I was some pot head saying I'm a vampire. I wanted to wait until you could believe I am what I am. I didn't mean to hurt you, I swear." I still was a little skeptical that he was a vampire. "Prove to me your a vampire." He looked at me confused. "So why did you yell at me if you still don't beleive?" I looked down. "Because I was hoping you wouldn't know what I was talking about. Also, hoping you'd regect the fact that you are one." I couldn't see his face, but his hands loosened. It felt like he was letting go of me but he couldn't bring himself to do so. "Look at me." I looked up to see a sad Alex. He smiled and I could see fangs. "Wait, if your a vampire how can you go in the sun?" "Havn't you heard of evolution? We evolved so we can blend in better." I nodded in somewhat understanding. "Hey! Alex! We can't hold this guy off forever!" It sounded like Jack. "Sorry! I'll get us out of here!" Alex screamed back. I heard a slam and a gasp for air. "Kim! You can't go with them! They'll give you up to Lileth! You'll be gone forever!" That was definitly the guy who brought me here. "Shut up Felex!" That was Macey. Are they all here to save me? Alex grabbed my hand and pulled me into him. Our bodies were connecting at every curve. I was brething in his breath and out lips were centimeters from each other. Part of me was screaming to kiss him! The rest was screaming to let him go. "I promise not to go to fast." Alex winked at me and before I could even blink colors ran past us. It felt like I was flying at the speed of light. But when I looked down I saw Alex's feet a blur running forward. It took him barely any effort. A second later we were on top of a hill looking down on the house I was in. We were at least five miles away. The house exploded in fire and out ran four people. One of them I knew wasn't Felex. "Felex dead?" I asked with no emotion. "We can't be sure. He's a great hunter. So who knows what his limits are." "Hunter of what?" Alex looked down at me and I looked into his eyes. "Hunter of things like Jack, Matt, Macey and I." "Why? You've done no harm." "Doesn't matter. Hunters think were the reason this world has all it's problems. Every natural disater is pinned on some supernatural being." I looked back toward the house on fire. "That's not fair if you didn't do it." Alex put his arm around me and held me close. My body was against his side. I laid my head on his shoulder. Alex was gentally rubbing my back. "I wish everyone could see it like you do. You say everyone is inocent until proven guilty. That's one thing I love about you Kim." I squeezed him. And as I stared at the house I saw a shadow crawling out of the fire. Felex was still alive.
  4. I was taken home by Macey. Who I saw as a werewolf along with Matt. They had hair everywhere and yellow eyes with sharp claws and teeth. It was kind of scary seeing what I thought as normal people as what people call monsters. The drive home was quite. Macey didn't even try to make conversation. When I got home I had to explain to dad Macey and I fell asleep studying. He was still mad. I sat in my room in complete darkness. Just when I started to accept I was alone I felt a presence. "Dad?" I asked sitting up. "No. If I was your dad that would be kinda creepy." I listened to the voice very closely. "Alex is that you?" I felt something sit on the end of my bed. "Yeah hope I didn't scare you. I just want to make sure you're okay." I sat criss cross applesauce with my blanket over my legs. I could feel Alex moving closer to me. "You're not creeped out that I'm here are you?" I shook my head and then realized he might of not have seen it. But before I could say no he said "Good." "How did you...?" "Vampire, remember? I can see as well as you can see in the day time." I smiled. "That is so cool!" I tried not to scream but did anyway. Alex covered my mouth but no one asked why I screamed. "Sorry." I said as I pulled his hand away. He leaned in close. The only way I knew that was because I could feel his hand on my leg. He was brething me in as I was him. "How long are you going to stay?" "All night if I have to. I want to make sure your safe." "That's sweet." He was so close and yet so far. I wanted to press my lips against his but I was scared I would miss. I wish I could see Alex. Alex is really handsome but it's to dark for me to see him. "You're cute too." "Thank... Wait too?" "I dapple in a little mind reading. Most vampires do." "Hey so you heard... Everything?" I could feel myself blushing. "I thought it was cute. And to be honest I really want to kiss you too but I didn't know how you'd feel about that." I smiled. "Well now you know. So are you going to kiss me?" I could feel the hand that was on my leg go behind my head. He played with my hair for a couple of seconds. "You sure you want to kiss a vampire?" I nodded knowing he'd feel and see it. He pulled me closer. I was forced to sit on my legs. His other hand pulled in my body. I felt the gentel brush of his lips and right when I was ready my light was on and door open. I opened my eyes to see dad but no Alex. "Who are you talking to? And what are you doing?" I felt hot in my face. "I was reading out loud. And acting out the scene in the dark..." I tried to make it sound believable, but dad kept looking at me questionably. "What book is this?" "It's called Love Kills." "I don't think I should let you read these books anymore." he laughed. I laughed akwardly. "Well I'll leave you alone. Have fun reading and acting in the dark." I waved goodnight as he left. When the lights were once again off and I knew my dad was gone I craved for ALex to come back. "Alex? You can come out now." I whispered. Nothing happened. "Alex?" I said in normal speaking voice. I could still feel his breath on my face and his lips brushing mine. It felt like the scene was happening again, but when I tried to kiss the feeling went away. He was scared off by dad. And I was forced to sleep alone and without a kiss goodnight.
  5. I woke up the next morning. I felt fine and then I remembered last night. Alex... I slammed my head back on my pillow feeling tears about to come. "He left me..." I wanted to kiss him then he left and didn't even come back to say goodnight. I sat up a little mad. "I'll show him what he missed out on." I got up from my bed. When I looked in the mirror I saw a girl who is failing at pulling off an afro and doesn't care about their apperance. "He'll think he dodged a bullet if I go to school like this." I went to the bathroom to brush away the afro first. When my hair wasn't as wavey as I wanted it I used a flat iron to wave it a little more. When I was satisfied I went to my closet to find THE outfit to show him up. I felt like I had nothing! Then I found a dress that I have yet to wear. It was greenish blue silk with a see through black over it and stopped at my uper thigh. I couldn't wear that alone. So I grabbed a white rose clip and clipped it to my right side of my hair. For jewlry I wore a necklace with a bejewled raven charm, and bracelets that were sivler bengles. Earrings were dimond droplets that are blood red. I had a shadowy eye and silver skinny heels. I stood in the mirror. "Everyone will want a piece of this." I motioned to my body then laughed. I walked to my door and strarted to go downstairs. When I was halfway down Buckington called up "You have a friend here going to take you to school." I ran down the stairs to see a smiling Macey. "Hey let me get my bag." I didn't expect her but I had to tell her I wasn't mad about the werewolf thing. I grabbed my bag and ran out. "Thanks Buckington! Have a good day!" He smiled and I hoped in Macey's car. "Hey sorry about yesterday." Macey looked at me weird. "Why are you sorry?" "I know now you were waiting for the right time to tell me. So I'm sorry for getting mad at you for not telling me." Macey smiled and did a half hug on me. "You're fine actually I was going to say sorry for not telling you." We laughed the whole way to school.
  6. When I got there Macey went to find Matt and I went to find Alex. As I looked left and right I didn't even notice that Jack walked over. "Hey is this for me?" I looked at him and rolled my eyes. "No I felt like dressing up." Jack took a step toward me."Are you sure? Then who are you looking for?" I got in his face. "None of your business." Jack winked at me and took two steps back and shoved his hands in his pockets. "Well I wanted to ask if you wanted to go out tonight." He was looking down. "Will there be fire involved?" He looked up smiling. "Only if you want there to be." He smiled. I knew he was a fire bender, what I didn't know was how shy he got. I stepped so close to him that our bodies were almost touching. "I'll go out with you tonight. Pick me up at 7." I turned away and he stayed in his spot. I felt a little bad to make him freeze up like that but he's cute nervous. I walked away confidently. Then someone grabbed my wrist. "Hey!" I turned and pulled my hand away. Alex was standing in front of me. He looked sad, nervous, and angry. Then he looked me up and down then at his feet. "Can I help you?" I didn't mean to sound snotty but I did. He said nothing. I turned to walk away but he grabbed my wrist again. "Stop!" "Don't leave, please!" He looked at me despretly. "I just want to say I'm sorry." I stayed but didn't say anything. "I wanted to know if you wanted to do something tonight." Wow two guys asking me out. I wanted to scream yes and kiss him but I knew better. "Sorry, I have plans." "With who?!" "Jack." Alex looked scared. "You can't go out with him! He's heartless!" "You should have thought about that when you didn't come back." I walked away. "Kim! I'm sorry!" Were Alex's final words. He's not going to ruin my date tonight.
  7. Classes went by and nothing happened, but Alex kept looking at me like he's lost me. After school I was picking up my stuff out of my locker. "Wow, look at you!" I turned my head around but my body was facing my locker. Matt was here. I turned the rest of me around to face him. "Hey! How was your day?" He nodded. "It was good, yours?" "Great thanks!" Matt smiled. "I asked out Macey today. She and I are going on a date tonight and if it goes well I'm really going to ask her out." That felt like he bit me at my heart. "Oh... That's great!" He gave me a skeptical look. "Is something wrong?" "No! I'm happy for you and Macey! I think you guys are perfect for each other." I wanted to tell him I love him but I didn't know if I really did. I smiled and acted like everything was cool. "Well I got to get going. Macey said she was taking me home. I don't want to keep her waiting to long." I closed my locker and walked away as Matt said bye. When I got out the doors Jack caught up to me. "Hey, how good do I have to look to look decent compared to you." I looked at my outfit. "Can I wear this?" Jack smiled. "That will be hard to compare to. But you look amazing in that so I'm up for it." I smiled. "See you tonight!" He blushed and nodded as he walked away. Jack wasn't the cool guy he thought he was. I was walking to Macey's car when I heard a familiar voice. "What are you doing?" I turned to see blue eyes. "What?" "You can't go out with them. Any of them!" He had no right to tell me who I can and can’t date. "Why? You jealous?" "No! I just want you safe! Because the world depends on that you don't get in the hands of Lileth!" I was furious! "So am I just a key to the end of the world!? I can't live my own life?! Well don't tell me that I can't trust Jack, Alex, or Matt! They treat me fine! So get off my back!" He flinched at my words. I was to mad to hear a response so I turned and walked away. Macey was already in her car jamming out to a song I didn't understand. I hopped in. "Hey! Guess what!" Macey screamed after she turned down the music. "You're going out with Matt tonight." She wasn't excited anymore. "You know?" I looked at her. "Yeah Matt told me." She crossed her arms. "You take the fun out of everything." We laughed as we started to drive. "I heard Jack had a date." Macey said. "I don't know who it is but they're an idiot either way." "Uhh...Macey..." "I mean who would go out with that jerk..." "Macey..." "...She must be some desperate girl who can't even get Drooling Dan." "MACEY!" She looked at me startled. "What?" I looked at my feet. "I'm going out with Jack..." Macey looked forward and started to go pale. "I'm sorry." Macey said looking sick. "You're fine, but don't give me crap for it." "Can I ask why Jack?" I shrugged. "He was trying so hard and he's kinda cute when he's nervous." Macey smiled her color returning to her face. "That's sweet." She dropped me off at home. "Time for a touch up." I said when I walked in.
  8. He picked me up 10 minutes early. Just enough time for dad's interview. "So where are you going?" "Mahogany's." "What time will she be home?" "Whenever you say." Dad smiled. "He's a keeper! Stay out no later then midnight." Jack drove us to Mahogany's and had his arm around me. The feeling was good. We sat down with him across from me. He rapped his legs around mine. We were having a great time. Jack made me laugh and feel amazing. I felt loved and wanted. When we walked out no one was outside. I turned to Jack and he looked really sexy. I wanted to kiss him not as badly as Alex though. He closed his eyes and pulled me close. As I was about to kiss him a purple flash surrounded me. "JACK!" I screamed and pulled my hands up to my eyes. Then black....
