  1. RECAP from Part 1: "Kristine, you know Brandon..." she said to you, looking on the ground softly. "Are you two... you know, have something going on?" she asked. You stopped walking, replaying those words Holly said. You finally catch your breath and looked into Holly's eyes. You both had stopped walking, and now you're in the middle of a suburb.
  2. You opened your mouth and said, "No. We're just friends." Holly glanced curiously and intently at you, as if she's trying to read beneath those words. Then she finally shrugged and muttered, "Okay." Now it was your turn to look at Holly. Could Holly be... jealous? You spun those words round and round your head like a spinning wheel. Holly was the most sweetest, gullible and innocent girl to make friends with. But could she be...? You both stopped at Holly's house. "Well, this is where I stop." Holly's face suddenly lightened up back to her normal self. "See you tomorrow!" she waved and disappeared into the house. Then you decided to keep walking a few miles till you get to your house. Once you got there to your two-story house, you were greeted by your dog, Lexie when you opened the door. Lexie was a pure white Maltese mix. You've owned her ever since she was a puppy. You loved dogs and other animals in general. "Hey there, Lexie! Who's the big girl, huh?" you cooed as you bent down to give her a cuddle. Lexie licked your face and put her paws on your knees and you laughed.
  3. You greeted your Mum, who was making dinner in the kitchen. "Hey, mum!" "Hey, honey, how was school?" she asked you contently. "It was fine." you nodded but you can't help thinking about Brandon and Holly. It could be possible Holly was jealous, but honestly... this is Holly we're talking about! You quickly trotted over to your piano to practice a few pieces before doing your homework. Op 53- Mozart read the paper title. You play it through, it was beautiful. "Okay, now Fur Elise by Beethoven..." you rummage through the pieces of musical paper. Slowly, your fingers started to play the most beautiful Fur Elise anyone has ever heard! Even Lexie started to get excited and started chasing her tail and yapping happily.
  4. After that, you logged onto your Facebook on the computer, while doing homework at the same time. 1 New Request! You click on it. It's from... "Brandon Sidovov". Yep, the Brandon you met today and hopelessly fell for. You hesitated for a second, thinking about Holly's dim and quiet face, but was slowly covered by Brandon's handsome face. So, without being incredulous, you clicked ACCEPT. Now, after you finished your homework, you logged off Facebook and shut down your computer. You decided to take a quiet walk around the park, which was just down the side of the road on the other side. You thought about calling Holly but you thought that after today, she must be tired so you just let it be. As you walked out to the park, you found Brandon sitting with a girl with bleached blonde hair and red highlights. She was wearing a face full of makeup, had her hair done in a ultra stylish and was wearing glamorous sunglasses. Both her and Brandon were sitting on the swings, holding hands! You tried to hold in the little gasp as you ducked behind a tree, spying on them. You kind of thought it was the wrong thing to just spy on them like that, but you felt heartbroken at the same time, even though Brandon didn't ask you out anyway.
  5. Trying to listen harder, you felt like a spy. "Listen, Cecilia... I don't think we should go out like this anymore." you heard Brandon saying. It sounded a little muffled. You then heard Cecilia screaming, "Fine! FINE! Go out with whoever she is! I HATE you!" she was overreacting. Brandon said something else that you can't make hear with Cecilia yelling back, "f--- you! You ruined my day! I never wanna see you again!" And with that, she pounced off. You quickly pushed your body into the trunk of the tree, making yourself look as small and flat as possible. You drew a sigh of relief as you flounced off without having a glance at you. As you turn your head, you see Brandon sitting on the one of the swing, alone. You felt sorry for him. Even from a distance, you could see his beautiful light blue eyes depressed.

  7. You make yourself appear in front of Brandon, ducking from the tree. He looked up and saw you, no smile, no nothing. "Hey." he said sadly. You pitied him. "Hello." you greeted back. "How are you?" "Not good. I just broke up with my girlfriend." he told you, his eyes and facial expression saddening than ever before. "I'm sorry." you choked, when really, you felt like saying, I can't believe you went out with such a drag queen like Cecilia in the first place but shut your mouth before anything rude comes out of it. "Do you mind if I sit here?" you asked, pointing to the spare swing next to him. Brandon shrugged so you sat. You both sat there in complete silence. "Kristine, I've been thinking..." Brandon suddenly cuts the awkward silence. "Do you want to go see a movie with me on Sunday at Westfields?"
  8. Your heart seemed to stop for a split second. Then it fluttered. Then it melted. You just laughed and said, "Yes." "Awesome. What time can I pick you up?" Brandon asked. "How about eight?" you told him dreamily. He nodded and gave you his phone number. As you both said goodbye, there were no kisses or anything, just a friendly wave. You didn't care. You didn't want to rush a relationship... hopefully. As you skipped home happily, you felt very giddy. You can't wait to tell Holly! She'd be thrilled! Little did you know, you forgotten that Holly seemed a teensy bit jealous...
  9. "What did you just say..." was Holly's reaction when you phoned her the following night. "I'm going out with Brandon on Sunday!" you squealed, feeling not quite yourself. There was silence over the phone. "Wow. I'm so happy for you." Holly said quietly. Your heart dropped to the ground. Didn't Holly feel happy for her? The tone she said it in was certainly not. "You know what, Kristine. I have some homework to catch up on. Bye." and what that, Holly hung up the phone. You sighed, jumped back on your bed and kept staring at your phone. You were worried about Holly. What was wrong? Why is she like this? Some many questions you wanted to be answered but just can't without a little motive.
