  • Well, I'm writing a book about volcanos, and no, I don't plan on posting it anywhere, I'm too lazy, but you would be, too, if your book was already 7 chapters long!

Okay, so, maybe about something you like, we are learning about volcanos and the earths crust and rocks and things in science, and I found the unit interesting, so I started to write a fictional book.

Say, maybe, you like, I don't know, dolls. Maybe you could write a book about dolls coming to life, maybe something happened and they are trying to help, or need help; maybe they are the ones doing bad things.

Also, I cut my hair for cancer just before last summer, I cut off about 9 inches and my hair was at my jaw line after I cut it, so in my book, I made one of my characters have cancer. She has five months to live, so, yea.

I like to base books I write off of stuff I like to do, or stuff I have done. I hope I helped, and I wish I could help more, but I'm supposed to be unpacking, I just moved.

  • Personally I write stories out of the vision of a female character. These are mostly romantic stories. I get my inspiration out of everything. But mostly movies based on real books/novels and everything. I have a lot of stories involving Twilight and I am working on one involving Percy Jackson. My female characters are always beauty itself (at least, what I think is beautiful in a person) I like to make there personality complicated though. Most of them have a lot of problems but somehow always manage to solve them. My stories are mostly melodramatic because that is what I like about stories. That they are so dramatic that it's almost funny. Titles are very hard to come up with when you don't have the full story finished yet so I think it's best to come with them after you finished it. So, the idea is: A girl (you can come up with name and looks, make her perfect or not so perfect, you can choose) moves to another town after something happened (parents died, friends got killed or whatever you want) and meets a boy that she starts to like. Make it as complicated as possible! (Like: He already is in a relation, he's hard to get, he's sick, she's sick? I'll leave the rest to you. I hope this was sort of usefull because I hate to give full ideas that you can't edit..)

  • Sit down and watch and think about a lot of books and movies you really like. You could also listen to some songs to inspire you. I like to do that. Like right now I'm writing a fantasy about this strange world. I read a lot of the stories that people made on here so I took a little from them. (but I used different words and stuff) And I like the golden compass, so I'm going to have each humanoid have a creature that is their spirit, except they aren't born with it. And then I was listening to some music while I was writing and it gave me some plot ideas. (I suggest listening to adele or taylor swift or some country music. Country gives you ideas about family, taylor, romance, and adele she sings about strength and stuff so if you want to write a sad book or a book about overcoming fear you should listen to her. That's all I can tell you, so BYE! XD

  • Well,I wrote five novels, not published and I think you

should write a teen romantic-comedy love story called

Before Love.It is about a group of sixteen years olds who

are finding their way as they grow:Ryan,Alexis,Li am,Kayla,Patrick

a nd Erin. Here is an idea for the first paragraph:

It was one of those rainy days in Riverview.

The gloomy, icky, sickeni ng feel of being stuck inside

was depressing for some people, but for Kayla Dawson,

it was just another day to curl up with a good book.

Now for some people like Alexis Reed,it was just plain

boring. For Liam Gant,it was fun to hang out with friends and go to the

movies.Erin Sanderson would rather writing a play and acting it out or

dressing her cat,Midnight.Patric k Coleman would be interested in playing

air hockey in his basement, while ignoring his annoying 8 year old brother,Lucas.Ryan Parks would definitely enjoy playing

    video games or watching YouTube.

Okay,so if you choose this one,you can continue the story

however you want, but here are the things you need to know:

Liam is sporty, popular, frie ndly, funny and nice.He loves football and

    basketball.Kay la is smart,shy,thoughtfu l,sweet and sensitive.She loves her family,reading and writing.

Patrick is cool, fun, outgoing,n ice and sporty.

    He loves hockey and soccer.

Erin is sweet, creative, clev er,friendly and caring.

    She loves animals,acting and dancing.

Alexis is unique, sarcastic,sa ssy, clever and friendly.

    She loves art,soccer and music.

Ryan is weird, funny, differe nt,fun and sporty.

He loves hockey and video games.
    Liam and Kayla are dating.
    Patrick and Erin are dating.
    Ryan and Alexis are dating.
    Thanks!
I hope you liked it :)

  • Ahaha~~ Well, you can keep a book and write down small ideas. Or type "Story/Novel/Book Ideas" into a google search engine and see what you get from that. Or you can just hit your head until that small part that says "Creative side" starts working. (Mine is in a pretty bad condition, but I'm workin' on it.) Anywho, you can even write something based on something you know or love. Like a song your mother sang to you about elves. You can write about elves. Or maybe your favorite animal is a wolf. Uhm. . .a character gets stuck with somewhere with a pack of wolves and he has to tame them in order to survive. Bleh, bleh, bleh, I'm just pulling stuff out of my ear.

    Good luck with that~~!

Oh, and be sure to have correct grammer and punctuation! >=D

  • I have an idea.....but you are NOT allowed to use it! Come up with a different one.

    Blurb:

B illy is the schools #1 grade failer ever. And class clown. He doesnt care a thing about homework, detention, or getting in trouble at all. All he cares about is making jokes, playing pranks, and getting his know-it-all crush to like him.

When the test exams happen, as a joke, he puts the same answer on all his questions for his math Scantron sheet.

Few know this, and fewer do it, but this combination of math questions, a Scantron test sheet, and the same answer every time, result in a personal vortex portal that takes them to a mysterious world, where everything is a twisted version of Earth.

Susan, the schools biggest know-it-all, always gets her homework and tests right. So when she gets the same answer for all the questions on her math test, shes quite surprised.

Billy and Susan are transported to Htrae, the opposite of Earth, and have to get back to their own world. But theres one tiny problem. The Tnemnrevog (government) of that world wont let them! And the fact that no one but the Tnemnrevog knows how.

So now these two kid Earthlings have to fight their way back to Earth. But many obstacles stand in their way, including the fact that Susan doesnt want to work with Billy, while Billy still loves her.

From two humorous views, youll find that Cassandra Day has spun a tale worthy of Rick Riordan.

  • Ok, here goes you shouldnt write a book by stealing another persons ideas, unless they're offered to you. Many things can inspire us, so just look around. What do you see? A dripping dewdrop, or a falling life? A ripped rose petal, or a broken spirit? Two dogs play-fighting, or a war between two worlds? Be imaginative. I've written many fantasy books and am working on more. Be creative. You're the author. It's not my book.

  • Think of something creative. I've been writing stories since I was in fourth grade. I'm 13 now and going to the eighth grade. If this is your first story than don't be afraid if it comes out crappy. It happened to me. The more you write the better you get. One thing I say that you shouldn't write about is vampires and werewolves. There's sooo many of them and then your story wouldn't be something new. Make up a creature. Or a planet. Just something that's an eye cather. I'm not saying that you can't write about vampires and werewolves. That's all I wrote about when I was younger and got tired of it. Romance is a big thing too. Don't write a whole story on that but you can put it in it. The first page is going to have to make people want to read it. Make sure you rewrite your story because that first draft is not going to be the best. Carry a piece of paper and a pencil. Ideas can come at any moment. I say pencil rather than pen because you may take the idea back out. If you still need more help writing you can still go online.

  • About a cat in a magical world. Something like this: " A star appeared in the sky. Three cats sat on the horizon. A new kitten has been born. A small kitten stood on the South Hill. It was forming a vortex of water on the ground below her. Her two older brothers sat behind her, one making a vortex of fire and one forming a whirlwind of leaves. A beautiful, white cat stood next to the kittens. She made small tornadoes. " Wind, Grass, Water and Fire," mewed an old cat. As all the cats moved, the sky moved too. These cats made the world. " Only an example!

  • lol ok, if you wanna write a book, try thinking of ideas first. What's your fav thing to write about? Do you like fantasy, fairy tales, horror, adventure? Maybe put on some inspiring music on while you're writing, chill and let ideas come into ur head. Lemme think, there's loads to write about. Just write!!! Maybe about an alien coming to earth from space, a romantic love story, a story about someone being a dog for a day, maybe about a haunted house, murder and mystery, a man who wished in a wishing well and it ended up badly, JUST WRITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (That should be enough exclamation marks XD cya!)

  • I recommend a fiction book with action and maybe magic as long as you don't go to far with it. The title and type of book should be from your mind, not others. If you told us a bit about yourself then I could give you tons of ideas but oh well. I advise you to not make an autobiography as your first book though, just my thoughts. P.S incorrect spelling is my biggest pet peeve! To make a good book you need excellent grammar and spelling, details, and "Show don't Tell". Good Luck! :)

  • I really recommend a story about things that you are afraid that will happened in life. Maybe a little magic, but still. Sometimes I think I will die violently. So if I just go in my notes on my phone, I pick some random names and write it out. Then maybe a day later, I think that lovely things will happen, but when I pick it up again, I write about it.

So the best solution to your somewhat "story-writing" problem is to write out things that you are afraid of with a tiny bit of magic!

  • Hello, my dear! I too, am an aspiring writer. First let me say, spell check is your friend, lol! ;) Trust me, it can be tough. Second, I personally am a science fiction writer, or at least I try to be. :P I like aliens, (even if I know they don't exist) so be sure to put some of those in there! I also like detective and romance stories, but make sure that you have continuity, or your story will just be frustrating. Alright, let me know how it goes! Love long and prosper!

  • Hi, I write my own stories and I am a part time "author" for school and I love mystery, thriller, romance and crime.

You need to have a plan ready, a plot, setting, characters and make sure that you re read your text over and over again until you make sure it is perfect. Be inspired by actors, books, websites and real life events.

  • Im writing a book, fantasy seems easiest for me, because you just make it up as you go along, carry a pen or pencil and write what you see, and make it fantastic! Like, an old guy walking down the street, or an old veteran running into a battle for the kingdom, just, make it fun. I hope this helps, keep writing.

  • Try writing a story about what you do daily, but put dramatic exaggerations like "I tumbled downstairs. I was on a very important mission. The sack in my body wants food, so I must escape to the fridge with stealth to complete my mission!"... That was a lot of exaggeration XD I wanna see how your story turns out!

  • the first thing you want to do is learn to spell. Seriously, that was painful to read. Otherwise, you want to get the most complicated part out of the way- the plot. Sure, you can make a character and write a few pages like that, but that's gonna collapse on itself. get a basic idea of what's going to happen and when, the climx and if there'll be a sequel and that kind of stuff, then add the details. Just a personal opinion.

  • I'm a writer myself, I'm in the process of writing many books. Before you write something, you really need to have a GOOD idea of what you want to write about. The brainstorming process will take a while, but it will be worth it. Write about something you like or care about (because you won't have any fun writing something that doesn't interest you, you'll probably not even finish it) When I first started writing, I bought a journal to jot down my thoughts, and then I would look at it to get some ideas. I HIGHLY recommend that you do that, because you will give yourself your own inspiration, and the feeling is great when you finally figure it out. Also, do your research, find out what others like to read. If you want others to read your work, they have to be interested. Good luck to you, I hope that I helped!

  • I cant really help you unless you have an idea of what you what the book to be about. But heres some ideas:

A guy being framed for something he didnt do.

A girl falling in love the the most unlikeliest person.

    A horse going through abuse.
A kitten being born to the streets
    An animals life.

I mean, those are some small ideas that you could grow on, but there u go.:)

  • I happen to be a writer my self, and I think you should try something possibly si-fy or fantasy. Also, I wouldn't use first person point of view, then you can't reveal the thoughts and feelings of all the other characters. I hope you have good luck and even possibly get your future AWESOME novel published online or something like that... Do well!!!!!!!!! :D

  • It matters what kind of book you are writing if your writing something magical, then it should have a magical title or the main characters name. I'm writing my own book for my keeping and it's something magical it's called Fairies, but like I said it should relate to something about your book. I hope I helped you a little a bit.
