  1. You wiped your tears and got up to sit by the warm fire. You sat beside it and hugged your knees to your chest. You felt your eyes tear up again as you kept seeing the image of your mother screaming for Voldomort to stop. "Em?" a voice asked. "What?" you replied bitterly. "Are you all right?" "No. I'll never be all right. Never." and you buried your face into your knees letting the tears come out again. You heard footsteps approach and felt a wind from your left as the boy sat down besides you. "I'm sorry," he whispered. You look up at him and see that it's Harry. "For what? You didn't do anything. Voldomort did." He looked down and said,"I don't know. I'm just... sorry for you I guess?" "You don't need to be. It happened a long time ago. I actually have nothing to hide from anymore. He's gone. For good." You smiled up at Harry and sighed. He smiled painfully at you and said,"C'mon. The quidditch tryouts are about to start." "Oh! Dang it! I completely forgot about that! Just a sec, I'll get ready!" You said paniced. You rushed up to your dorm and washed your face, combed your hair, and grabbed your firebolt from the bed. You hurried down and met Harry at the door. "C'mon then! Let's go!" he said, not noticing your firebolt.
  2. You smile weakly at him and you walk together to the quidditch field. Some people stared at you but you kept your head down. Youarrived at the field and Harry went to talk to the team captain, a seventh year. You uncomfortably stood alone, glancing around at everyone talking and laughing together. You felt a shiver tip toe down your spine as your old fear came back. You heared many voices in your head. You shook your head and blocked them out. "Come on! Gather around! I'll split you into 2 different teams. the player that does the best for their part of play gets onto the team!" the seventh year said. He counted you off. You were a two. "Ones gather on the left side of the field, two on the right. Discuss who is to be who and send the seekers to me!" You wennt to the right end, and thankfully Harry was on your team.
  3. You smiled at him. He smiled back. "Okay, who wants to be seeker?" a girl asked. Harry volunteered and everyone agreed. Harry went to the seventh year. They talked a little and he came back smiing.
  4. Everyone else was chosen to do something and that left you and a fidgety boy to be beaters. You smiled encouragingly at him. The gesture wasn't returned. You looled at Harry. He was talking to the girl who had taken charge to sort everyone. They fnished talking. The girl walked up to you and smiled. "I'm Katie Belle. I'm guessing you're Emerald, thhe transfer?" you nodded shyly. She smiled kindly at you and said,"If you need any help just come to me. I can deal with who ever is giving you a problem." You smiled and said,"I'll keep that in mind." Mount your brooms!" The seventh year said. You strangly just noticed his Scottish accent. You shrugged the strange feeling you got off and mounted your sleek firebolt. You kicked of the ground and steadied yourself. You did very well. You think you made the team, as you had hit every one on the opposite opposite team multiple times with the bludger. Harry smiled at you as you walked to the common room together saying you did a good job. You returned the smiled and grabbed your potions stuff, hurrying to the dungeon with Harry. You walked in and was taken aback by how gloomy it was.
  5. Harry to a seat next to Ron, so you sat next to Hermione. She smiled at you and said hi. You say the same back. A greay black haired professor walked into the classroom. "Now class, today you will be making..." you started to zone out, but kept your eye on the professor to create the illusion that you were actually listening. "You will find the recipe on page 56. You have until the end of this class period he finished dully. You pulled out your book and opened it. You were relieved to find your notes on that page. Since you didn't have any friends before, you made notes throughout the summer, expecting not to have friends and to be studying all the time. You finished your potion quite quckly and you poured so into a vial. "You're alreadt done?!?" Hermione exclaimed. You nodded with satisfaction.
  6. Professor Snape examined your vial. He looked pleased and surprised at the same time. "You made it perfectly. 10 points to Gryffindor." and he walked off to examine other students. You grinned when you saw Hermione's expression. "What?" "Sorry! It's just tha you turned as red as a tomato." She looked at you ond the color started to leak away from her face. She laughed softly and grinned. After class, you walked with the Golden Trio to Hagrid's hut, where your next class was...
  7. You settled in a spot at the front of the group picking up your copy of The Monter Book of Monsters. You had finally mastered opening it. "All righ'! Now, I wan' yer to turn to page 71 while I go get the animals we will deal with today." Hagrid announced. "How do you expect us to open these while they try to bite off while we do?" a voice sneered from the back. You were angered by the way he spoke to Hagrid so rudely. You turned to him and simply said,"Stroke it, you idiot." You turned back around and opened your book while some people did wolf whistles and laughed at the nasty boy's reaction. You gasped when you found the page. "Yes! Hippogriffs!" you excaimed. Everyone looked at you with surprise. "You've seen one before?" "Yeah, they're really sweet."
  8. Hagrid comes back leading a beautiful gray hippogriff to the open space in front of your group. "Now, who would like ter pet 'im?" You immediately step forward smiling. Before Hagrid can continue, you step closer and bow, looking up making eye contact with the hippogriff. He immediatly bowed back and approached you, snuggling into your shoulder. You laughed at this and started petting him. "So I'm guessing you've already dealt with hippogriffs like Buckbeak here before?" You nod smiling at Buckbeak and stroking his soft and shiny feathers "Now, it's time for yer to ride 'im!" Hagrid said. "Wait, what!?!" you cry as Hagrid lifted you onto Buckbeak. "Now mind you don't pull out any feathers. He won't thank yer for that!" and with that, he slapped Buckbeak's hindquaters and Buckbeak ran foward and took off. You let out a shriek. You wrapped your arms around Buckbeaks neck as he flew around the castle. You flew over a bunch of seventh years. You recognized the quidditch captain and waved. He waved back, turning red. His friends start teasing him. You flew around the catle a few more times, once almost close enough to Professor Snape the he stumbled backwards and landed on his behind. You laughed uncontrollably with the other students around. Buckbeak turned around and made a landing where you landed. You jumped off smiling, fixing your wind blow hair.
  9. By then, four other hippogriffs were out. You walked to your book as everyone clapped (except the boy with blode hair and a pale face that you humiliated earlier)
  10. *MissingRiddle23* So sorry y'all! It's been kinda hectic at my place. I have tons of homework to do and I got the flu so I have a lot of make up work. I'll get part 7 out as soon as possible. I promise! :-) :@
