  1. Heavy, irresistible waves of dreamless sleep washed over you; you fell back on the pillows into a dreamless sleep. Harry returned to Gryffindor tower the next morning, although you couldn't; your legs were still mending. You had to stay in the Hospital wing for a few days, but then you were free. Most people seemed to be avoiding your gaze in the corridors, but Ron and Hermione told you that Dumbledore had asked the students not to ask you questions and to leave you and Harry alone. On the night before you had to leave Hogwarts, you went outside in the moonlight. You had packed, and Moncai was in your room.
  2. You sat under the tree next to the lake, bringing your knees up to your chest, resting your chin on them. You shivered as a sudden wind came. "Are you cold?", asked a voice. You recognized the voice immediately. You looked up, your eyes wide. Oliver was standing above you. Inside you were excited, but you didn't show it. You shook your head, not taking your eyes off him. You saw the corner of his mouth twitch, as if he was about to laugh. "I'm not stupid, you know". He sat next to you, and pulled his navy v-neck sweater over your head. You felt your bottom lip quiver slightly, and then you couldn't help it. All the anger and sorrow you had been holding since the start of the Tournament, and Cedric's death came rushing out at once. You burst into tears and flung your arms around Oliver's neck.
  3. He put his arms around you, and held you close to him. When you stopped crying, you wiped your eyes, and whispered "Sorry". Oliver looked as if he was in pain. "It's my fault. I should have been here". "No",you replied. "You've got a job, you can't keep coming back here". Oliver sighed. You looked up at him. He looked a bit like a ghost, the moonlight shining on half of his face. He also looked like he hadn't shaved in a few days. You ran your fingers along his jaw. He took your hand in his. Oliver's breathing was making you fall asleep...
  4. *Oliver's P.O.V.* I looked down at her face. She had fallen asleep. She looked so beautiful in the moonlight. Suddenly I started seeing the worse things. The scars from last year, the bruises, burns and scratches from the tournament. Her thin face was covered in them. Her legs were fragile, covered in bruises as well. I picked her up and carried her back to the castle, her head resting against my chest. When I reached the portrait hole, she woke quickly. She stood, stumbling slightly. "T-thanks", she yawned.*
  5. You said the password, and Oliver followed you into the common room. "You should go to bed", he said. You nodded, and went up the stairs. Hermione and Ginny were waiting up there for you. "Oliver's back!", said Ginny excitedly. You nodded, yawning. "I know", you said, pointing to his sweater, which you were still wearing.
  6. The next day, Harry, Hermione, you, Oliver and Ron all went into a compartment on the train. The door of the compartment slid open. Draco, Crabbe and Goyle stood in the doorway. "Get out," said Harry. "You've picked the losing side, Potter! I warned you! I told you you ought to choose your company more carefully, remember? When we met on the train, first day at Hogwarts? I told you not to hang around with riffraff like this!" He jerked his head at Ron and Hermione. "Too late now. Potter! They'll be the first to go, now the Dark Lord's back! Mudbloods and Muggle-lovers first! Well - second - Diggory was the f-". It was like someone let off a box of fireworks off. Blinded by the blaze of the spells that had blasted from every direction, deafened by a series of bangs, you blinked and looked at the floor. Draco,Crabbe and Goyle were all lying on the floor. Everyone was on their feet, wands out. Fred and George were standing in the doorway as well. Thought we'd see what those three were up to," said Fred matter-of-factly, stepping onto Goyle and into the compartment. He had his wand out, and so did George, who was careful to tread on Malfoy as he followed Fred inside. "Interesting effect," said George, looking down at Crabbe. "Who used the Furnunculus Curse?" "Me," said Harry. "Odd," said George lightly. "I used Jelly-Legs. Looks as though those two shouldn't be mixed. He seems to have sprouted little tentacles all over his face. Well, let's not leave them here, they don't add much to the decor." Oliver, Fred and George kicked and pushed the three boys out of the compartment, which was now packed. You were squashed in between George and Ginny, who was squashed next to Oliver. You wrinkled your nose. "Get off me", you muttered George, who was poking you. He continued, and you started poking him back. It turned into a poking fight between you and George, while the others played exploding snap. You got off the train, telling Harry to give the Triwizard money to the twins, for their joke shop. You hugged everyone goodbye, and then left Platform 9 and 3/4.
