  • 90% for me! And I'm sure that negative plus negative is positive. Like what chocolatefrog said. I'm in 5th grade and I haven't even been taught about negative and positive numbers. But I believe chocolatefrog is correct. (I'm not trying to be rude, just saying. :3)

  • I just looked at what i got wrong and I think negative plus negative does make a positive because i remember my teacher saying cross the two - to make + and thats how you remember

  • I don't really get it because I am in 5 grades higher and I am pretty smart in math. It's probably because I don't know what continent is...(dumb) and the last one...(more dumb)

  • @lover princess: Because you're stupid. I'm not even in an algebra class this year (my maths is Geometry) and I could do the negatives

  • I know why, i was thinking two minuses in a row like 2 - (-2) = 4.

So in that way two negatives DO make a positive, it wasn't very clear how you wrote the question

  • 100%. I almost got 90% because I didn't know if Asia was a continent or not. That would have been embarrassing if I got it wrong considering I'm in 8th grade...

  • One in Spanish is uno or Una

But I don't think 1st graders are learning negatives I learned that in 6th grade

  • I'm pretty sure all I did in grade one was colour and learn how to add and subtract positive numbers.

  • Why do i remember a teacher saying that then? just goes to show you don't remember anything once you're not there

  • No! A positive sign and a negative sign next to each other equal a negative sign. -5 + -5 is the same as -5 - 5 which equals -10.

  • I'm in 7th grade and I got 80%. The last question I learned in like 5th grade, not 1st. I'm the smartest in my grade, so how did I get 80% ?!?!

  • Negative plus a negative is not a positive. Ex: -2+-2=-4

    Although, negative times a negative is positive. Ex: -2 (-2) = 4

    Good quiz!
