"Hey!" Lavender giggled. "What are you doing?"

‘Hugging you, duh!’

"Alright." Lavender hugged her back, beaming.

Maeve grinned and kissed her cheek.

Lavender snuggled into her.

Maeve blushed, looking up at her with a grin.

Lavender grinned back.

Maeve beamed. ‘You’re amazing.’

"You're amazing....er"

‘You’re the amazingest!’

Lavender rolled her eyes. "Not even." She hugged her close. "If I'm amazing, then you're a goddess." She mumbled the last sentence, mostly talking to herself.

Maeve blushed bright red at that. She shook her head and nestled into her hold. 'Well, if you're not amazing, then I must be the worst person to ever exist.'

"You're not the worst person to ever exist!" Lavender sat up, frowning. "You're completely and totally amazing." Lavender didn't bother to add that she was painfully average. She thought it was a basic fact, and that Maeve was just being nice by denying it.

Maeve blushed at that, watching her with skeptical eyes. ‘If I’m completely and totally amazing, you must be the queen of the world. Ooh, you can be the queen, and I’ll be your royal consort,’ she joked with a smile. She wasn’t good with… serious topics, especially ones where she had to voice her true opinions about herself without a joke.

"If anyone's going to be the queen of the world, it's you!" Lavender giggled. "I'll be the royal consort."
