‘Noooo, I don’t wanna be the queen!’ Maeve whines.

"You could make it a law that no one is allowed to be nosy about us~" Lavender suggested with a smile, kissing her cheek.

‘Hmph. Why can’t YOU make that law?’ Maeve huffed, snuggling close to her. She was blushing.

"Because you'd be a better queen." Lavender held her close.

'Pfft. Would not,' Maeve scoffed.

"Of course you would!"

'Would not! Liar!'

"I'm not a liar!" Lavender giggled.

‘Yes you are!’

"No I'm not!"

'Yes you are,' she said, as if the matter was predetermined. 'You're lying about me being a good queen of the world, so it makes you a liar.'

"You'd be a good queen of the world!" Lavender giggled, holding her close. "Or at least a better queen than me. I wouldn't last a second on a throne."

‘Well, me neither! Maybe we BOTH should be queen,’ Maeve grinned.

"How does that even work?"

‘… It just does,’ Maeve said.
