‘You kind of are!’ Maeve giggled.

“I am not!” Lavender rolled her eyes. “You’re the pale one!”

‘I am not!’ Maeve protested. She was.

“You are!” Lavender kissed her nose. “You’re beautifully pale. You need to be in the sun more, though.” She smiled.

‘Oh, shush.’ Maeve rolled her eyes, but was blushing severely. ‘I am not!’

Lavender smirked. “You are!” She dragged her to the mirror. “I’m more tan than you are!”

Maeve looked at Lavendee through the mirror. ‘Well… shush. I refuse.’

“You refuse to what?” Lavender held her close, looking at their reflection.

‘I simply refuse,’ Maeve giggled. She was definitely more pale than Lavender.

Lavender rolled her eyes, giving up. She took Maeve’s hands and pulled her so close that their noses were almost touching.

Maeve blushed bright red, letting her and meeting her eyes.

Lavender stared into her eyes for a moment. “How is it that you’re so pretty?” She asked, tilting her head to the side slightly.

Maeve blushed even harder. ‘You- I-I-‘

Lavender waited for an answer, half to mess with her, and half because she really did want to know what her answer would be.

Maeve blushed EVEN HARDER. ‘You’re beautiful too,’ she mumbled.
