‘What if the shape shifting is affecting my stomach, too? I might have a phoenix stomach!’

"Maybe Patton has worms then." Maeve said, covering her face so they both couldn't see her chuckling.

A flame jumped from Chester’s wing and nearly set her hair on fire. ‘Phoenixes are allergic to worms,’ he mumbled.

Maeve smirked. "Well what can they eat then?"

‘They can eat annoying little girls.’

Maeve rolled her eyes. "Not if they teleport to Sweden."

‘Please do. It would save us both a lot of trouble. Little girls taste sour.’

Maeve laughed. "Exactly, so you wouldn't eat me anyways." She smirked.

‘Better than eating worms,’ Chester said, wiggling his eyebrows.

Maeve rolled her eyes. "Fine." She teleported away... For about 10 seconds. "Eh, it's boring there."

‘In Sweden? Go to the South or something. I think there’s a riot down there.’

"Oooo, fun." Maeve smiled, teleporting away again. Jayden chuckled.

Chester chuckled weakly. He looked at the waffles.

"Are phoenix's allergic to waffles too?" Jayd asked.
