"We'll figure it out!" Jayd tried to talk louder than him. "Just calm down!"

Chester took a deep breath. He concentrated hard, then turned into a mouse, a goat, then a half shark. He looked like a merman with bed hair as he fell over. ‘Oh, come on!’

Jayden would've burst out laughing if it didn't seem serious. "I mean, at least it kept your top half." Jayd sat down, figuring they'd both be here for a while.

‘Do I look absolutely ridiculous?’

"Just a little." Jayd gave a so-so hand gesture. "I still think you're beautiful. Your top half, anyways."

Chester’s tail flipped. He huffed. ‘Thanks, I guess.’

Jayden chuckled. "You're welcome." He ruffled Chester's already messy hair.

Chester rolled his eyes. He transformed into a half-fox. His eyes were bright orange.

Jayd watched. "Hey, at least you're not a shark! now"

‘Yeah, I’m not a merman but a furry. Again.’

"It's alright, love." It very much was not alright, Jayden wasn't stupid. "Just relax. We'll find someone who can help."

Chester sighed. He turned back into a half-phoenix. ‘Alright.’

Jayd smothed Chester's orange hair out a bit. "Come on. lets go to breakfast."

Chester nodded. He stood up.
