Chester smiled, leaning back against him as he loaded slightly overcooked pasta with chicken in it onto the spare space on the plate.

Jayden grinned. "You're my fiancé now." He pointed out happily.

Chester beamed, putting chopped up carrot on the plate beside the pasta, making sure each food wasn't touching, and moved onto the other plate. 'I am,' he spoke.

Jayden grinned, snuggling into him.

Chester turned in his arms and pulled him tight against his chest.

Jayden grinned, letting him.

Chester kissed the top of his head. 'You're perfect,' he mumbled.

"I try." Jayden murmured happily.

Chester smiled. He kissed his jaw, not wanting to pull away and set the table.

Jayden leaned into his touch, but pulled away a moment after to get the table ready. He searched for candles to make a romantic candlelight dinner, but wasn't sure where they'd be kept.

Chester smiled and let him. He turned back to the kitchen and turned the stove off, grabbed the plates, and walked to the dining room. The candles were stored in a bottom drawer, under the cutlery.

Jayden grabbed some glasses for the water, and some silverware, and helped set the table.

Chester followed him and set the plates on the table. It was a long wooden one with chairs set for six, two on the sides and one on each head. He then grabbed two wine glasses and a bottle of red wine, part of his father's collection that he'd never been able to touch.

Jayden pulled out a chair for Chester with a smile.

Chester chuckled and sat, then pulled out Jayden's chair for him.
