Chester grinned and cut up one of his potatoes.

Jayden started eating his food.

Chester did the same. 'Oh, it's actually decent,' he joked.

"I told you! I knew you didn't mess up!"

‘Oh, shush. It was a lucky day.’

Jayden chuckled.

‘The luckiest day. I managed to swindle the man of my dreams into agreeing to spend the rest of his life with me, I didn’t burn the potatoes…’

"You didn't swindle me!"

‘How do YOU know?’

Jayden didn't have an answer. ".... You swindler!"

Chester laughed and put his pasta on his fork. ‘Exactly!’

Jayden rolled his eyes.

Chester kissed the side of his head.

Jayden leaned into him with a grin.
