Chester snuggled close to him, his loving gaze on the man next to him, not the stars.

Jayden kept stealing glances at him with a dorky grin.

Chester grinned back, playing with his hair.

Jayden grinned.

Chester held him close, kissing his jaw.

Jayden leaned into him.

Chester let him, arms tight around him.
‘We’re gonna have a lovely wedding. Ooh, Maeve will be the flower girl, and it can be decorated with rainbow flowers-‘ he rambled. ‘What should the dress code be? Should it be large or small? How many children do you want?’ -
Jayden heard him rambling, laughing. "I'd love a small wedding, and I've never thought about children." That wasn't entirely true. He'd thought about them, but got too scared of the idea that he'd be a terrible parent. He didn't want to ruin a little kids life.

‘I’m fine with that. We can brainstorm together! I’ve always wanted a little girl, perhaps named after some fantastical entity- Or Anastasia! Anastasia is a lovely name. And… Felice? Philip? Felix?’ Chester thought for a moment, nestling closer to Jayden. ‘We’ll figure it out. God, I love you. I mean, I love you. Not, y’know, God.’ He continues rambling, arms around his now fiancé.

Jayden laughed at how excited Chester was. He was so happy to start a new life with this man. "I love you too. Anastasia is a beautiful name."

Chester beamed, holding him close and firmly, as if afraid he was going to disappear. Their life was going to be perfect. ‘I’m glad you think so,’ he spoke, peppering kisses all over his face. ‘Ooh, actually, Maeve should be my maid of honor. We’re already breaking gender norms just be being together, after all. Or perhaps she can be both. She’d love to skip down the aisle with Lavender…’

Jayden laughed at the idea. "That sounds lovely."

Chester beamed and played with his hair for a moment, before kissing him on the lips, under the stars.
(I’m going to go to bed, it’s relatively late for me. Have fun at school if you’re going today !) -
Jayden kissed him back, holding him close.

Chester pressed close to him. The two stayed like that for a while, kissing each other and whispering about the future, until it got dark.
‘It’s getting cold,’ Chester murmured, all snuggled up to Jayden by now. His overcoat was on top of them both, like a blanket.
