Chester kissed his head and carried him to their bedroom, where the suitcases were set on the bed.

Jayden held onto him tight, grinning.

Chester smiled and set him down, then laid next to him and snuggled up.

Jayden leaned into him. "I love you."

Chester held him tightly. 'I love you too.'

"I love you more."

'No you don't. Blasphemy.'

"Hey!"

'That's what horses eat.'
