*desperately trying to remember my character’s name without going back to her CS*))
Madison reached out, attempting to shut the book. She used all her strength on the cover, but it didn’t budge. “I CAN’T CLOSE IT!” She yelled, books after books were swept into the vortex as it grew larger and larger each time. When there was nothing left, it started to take in chairs, then tables, then Madison.
She screeched as it pulled her in, trying to grasp ahold of something.
“GAH!” Kymara screamed as Madison began to be sucked into the vortex. She grasped onto her shirt sleeve and tugged as hard as she could, but it did nothing. Kymara’s hair flowed around her as wind whipped around the room. She felt herself being pulled as well into the shimmering hole and panicked. “Help!”
I love how it’s just a line of people desperately trying but failing to save eachother ))
Madison screamed as she tumbled into a world of... books? She landed in a pile of novels, thumping hard on them as she lay there for a moment, her voice hoarse from screaming. She looked around, where were they? It looked as if... they were in a peaceful place, gently rolling hills flowed around them as an unseen creek babbled. Trees swayed as Madison looked up, where the vortex was.
Kymara, in a last-ditch attempt to save herself, grabbed the corner of a basket filled with books, and ended up pulling it in with her. She fell, yelling strings of curses, right next to Madison. She raised a curious eyebrow before she was knocked out cold by the metal basket.
