Charlotte watched Madison walk on the yellow brick road. "If this a world of books, we must have fallen into the fairytales in that dusty old book!" she said excitedly. "Which means following the yellow brick road is our best chance to get out of here."

"Except there's no munchkins here," Weston pointed out.

“Pfft, I’m pretty sure they were elves.” Madison said, a knowing look on her face. She followed the road, ahead of the others until they came to a field of poppies. “Ooh, I watched this part in the movie!”

Doel leaped up, awkwardly waddling towards them to catch up. "Hey!" She shouted, out of breath, carrying a pile of her favorite books. She could barely see, or even walk, with the books. Grunting with a determined effort, she trailed behind.

Kymara held her head where the basket had hit her with her hand, wincing in pain. Every movement hurt and she could barely see out of the eye on the side that the basket hit. She slowly stood up, still holding her head, and groaned loudly.

Charlotte glanced over at Kymara. "Hey, are you okay?"

Madison frowned at the others as they came to a dead end in the road. It was confusing, especially to Madison. She didn’t remember any dead ends in the movie.

Charlotte glanced around, frowning. "Is it supposed to be like this?"

"I told you it's not the legendary yellow brick road," Weston said. "We should just figure out how to get back."
