Tax: 12%

Missouri, United States: 6%

tongue AdvancedI don't know the exact number, but New York has some of the highest taxes in the United States. The tax on cigarettes alone is $5.

On purchases? None. Oregon doesn't tax purchases.

NY Metro Area, USA: 8% is my mother's guess.
